How many more episodes are we expected to get? And will there be any double features? What I mean by that is will there be some nights when there will be NEW Lost 2 hours in a row?

All I know is that there are about 9 more episodes left because there are supposed to be 17 total this season. But I expect the last two hours to make up the finale.

There will be a total of 17 this season and 17 next season and that will be it. I believe this past episode was #8.

As far as double header nights, don't know. I imagine that the final episode will be a two hour event, but anything else is just guess work.

At least it's not as short as season 4. And to be honest, season 4 would be my least favorite season if not for Cabin Fever. Hell, even then I don't really like it much aside from the pacing.

You're right about the number of episodes. 9 left this season and 17 next. And y'all know what? No matter how they do the season finale, the last hour of Lost this season will be the 100th episode!!! So you know they're going to top last season's finale. They always do!

Yes the last episode(17) will be the two-hour finale.
As for the next season,There may be 17 also,or more.

I don't think the last hour will be 100th episode,it will be beyond that number.
Depends how you count the episodes,the 1st episode was two hours,some will count it as 2 episodes.
And the 2 hour finales,are usually counted as 2 episodes also.

yeah, they are taking there sweet time writing it so i imagine it will go out with a bang this season.
