So after 3 seasons and 3 episodes, what i think we must find out in order to understand anything with this show is who is ben? we've had one flashback that showed how he became leader but thats really it. everything that happnes in this show revolves about ben. hes alot more then what we know

yeah....Bens Dad obviously was aSOB and Ben had a special gift from childhood that the hostiles saw so they allowed him to convert after purging his people......we desperately need Bens flashbacks...i think that the writers are holding us in suspense with his because they will explain a lot....and LOL Law.....too cute..

Yeah its almost like Ben, Walt and Locke (and possibly even Hurley) all are one in the same in that they are 'special'....I just can't figure out how they are all connected?

I think that Locke couldn't see the cabin because he came with everybody. When Ben used to go to the cabin to see Jacob he said he used to go alone.

Yah I agree, just like Hurley was alone when he saw it...I think Jacob chooses who sees it and who doesn't.

Aha! You make a fair point! I need to watch the episode again. You know what's really annoying me?
This season, every time I've tried to tape the show, something goes wrong with my dvd recorder or my vcr, so somehow on the first night it comes on over here I can't rewatch it! It's so strange! But it repeats tommorrow night so I'll make sure I tape it again, like I did the others, it's so weird!

I Almost Need 2 A Fill In The Blank From The Time Ben Was A Kid And Saw His Mother Outside His Window And Chased Her, Then Up To The Time He Killed His Father,cause The Way The Show Made It Seem, He Had Never Seen His Mother Agian..it Went From Bens Mom-to Richard..who Appeared In The Woods. I Would Love 2 Have More Info On Richard....who Appearently Seems 2 Be Able 2 Leave The Island Also......

Originally, Ben was only supposed to be in 4 episodes so it is possible that he is not as important to the story as it seems. He is a great character which is why they kept him on and a great way to introduce the various story elements.

I love Ben, he is one of my favorite characters in the show, does anybody know when we are going to dive into the story of Henry Gale, because we all know Ben has something to do with him.
