Is it just me, Or we have seen priewviously that name:Lafleur on a Dharma jump suit on a dead body? I can't get my finguer on it, was it when Lock fell in the pit with all those Dharma corps? or else?

no idea but i found this on lostpedia...

'The name LaFleur is mentioned by Pierre Chang at the end of his fragment in the DHARMA booth video, which may indicate Sawyers presence at the recording.'

I was wondering if any of the names the 815'ers had assumed once they joined the DI were on any of the dead bodies in the pit. Granted, we don't know too many of their names as of yet, but it might be interesting to look into.

I've haven't paid much attention to flowers on the show before now. Sawyer's choice was a significant one. Of course, LaFleur means Flowers.

Some examples from the show. The Orchid- also a flower, and a fake botanical station. Ben told Locke to look by the anthuriums ( had to look that one up) for the hidden elevator. Sawyer stopped to pick a flower for Juliette( idk what kind it is) Who did Sawyer call a "flower child"? Libby?

The idea of Lafluer being in the purge pit made me think of the phrase "pushing daisies"

well you see, lockeing married ben and i was her bridesmaid and that what she put me in :eek:

just my face NOT my body (sadly lol!) not my work - a super talented guy made it for me :D

Yeah, it would be good to go back and find when the name was mentioned because I am pretty sure it was mentioned (maybe even more than once).

all the dharma jump suites have the first name only and then their job title. so you would need to be looking for james, juliette, hugo, or jin. noone has there last name on the jump suites.

well ill have to rewatch that. i strictly remember that his said james, because i am blonde and was like i thought they were calling him jim. maybe the lost producers messed up and put both on there. i also remember miles jumpsuit said miles while juliettes said juliette.

well...i have it on my pooter so i quickly went back and watched a clip (when he is talking to the dr regarding amys section) and you catch a wee glimpse of it saying la fleur.

maybe they can mix n match!!

Nope Sawyer's said Lafleur. Jim is short for James was my take on the name. I think Miles' said Enos (or that was what Sawyer called him.. )but I know Jules' said Juliet.

I checked out some screencaps on DarkUFO but I couldn't see any names. If anyone actually sees the name on a shirt in the pit, I hope you'll let us know!

I tried to view pics of the pit but it wasn't clear enough to get names. The close as I got was YouTube. Here are the links:

On a side note, while watching the dharma booth video, Chang has to stop talkin to the camera at one point and ask Lori to 'get the crying baby out of here'..... Could this be Miles as a baby ,while Milesas an adult is also in the room or somewhere nearby?

I don't have any screencaps, but Miles and Juliet's jumpsuits have their real name. Sawyer's is the only one that has an alias, and it says "LaFleur." No doubt about it. Having "Jim" or "James" on it would take away from the shock of the scene near the beginning when Phil and Jerry go to wake up LaFleur, and Sawyer grabs his Dharma uniform with "LaFleur" so prominently displayed.

Very creative and clever pictures of Jack there! Loved it!! The flower ideas are something I have explored, too. Many mystical/mythical connections to the flowers mentioned on Lost. And wasn't there a scene where Eko or some character is standing in a field of red flowers on Lost? Apollo or some god's mythology was linked to a field of flowers-red ones I think--maybe anthuriums or roses or?

That was the van that Ben killed his father, Roger Linus, in. That can also be seen in ep 3.20 the man behind the curtain

Ah good job unbridled, you beat me to it. Thats also Rogers arm that vincent brought in from the jungle. Not to be confused with the arm of Montand, that was ripped off in the best smokie scene ever, that we saw earlier this season a few eps ago

Question- Does everyone from Darhma carry a gun with them? I know Sawyer does and Locke gets the gun off of a dead body in the pit? Maybe we can check Sawyers gun to see if its the same? Long shot here I know.

I really don't think that there is any LeFleur in the pit.. I checked what screenshots I could and watched the scenes where Locke is first shot, Walt talks to Locke, and when Locke is looking for Horace's body in the pit and I saw no names (except for Horace).

Could it have been somewhere else?

When and how did Dr. Chang lose an arm? Reference?It is one of those things that I have read here a few times but I have not checked it out myself. I should not have included it on the list without checking it out. What I read was that he is seen in one of the videos with a prosthetic arm. I guess I have some homework to do! :cool:

Okay I took the Cliff's Notes route and checked Lostpedia. This is who has lost an arm on this show:

1.) Roger Linus' corpse, when Vincent steals it.
2.) Montand of Rousseau's landing team, by Smokey.
3.) The farmer who helped Kate in Tabula Rasa had a prosthetic arm.
4.) Dr. Marvin Candle's left arm is a prosthetic in the Swan Orientation Film. (Dr. Pierre Chang)

The writers seem to have a thing about missing body parts in general. There is a whole section on Lostpedia devoted to it:

pretty sure locke had a revolver in the pit, and sawyer has a semi-auto

I didnt read all the responses but YES we did see LaFleur's skeleton in the pit. I told my wife right away after Sawyer 'assumed' the LaFleur name that a body with that name was shown on an earlier episode.

Do you remember where? I watched all the scenes I could think of (when Locke is shot, when Walt comes to talk to him, and Locke searching the pit for Horace) and it's not in there. Is there another scene I missed?

That just makes me think more that the name LaFleur was on the show somewhere in the past.. they didn't want to use "James" or "Jim" because we'd all suspect Sawyer, so they used a fake name.

I wonder if the name isn't in the pit, but it's somewhere else?

la fleur was the first password on the dharma special access thing from Dharmawantsyou.com i still have all the emails and when i seen the name i knew i seen it somewhere then i remembered it was one of the passwords. thats prolly where you guys remember it from unless you never did the dharmawantsyou thing.

You must know something we don't. There are 2 scenes in the pit. One where Ben shoots Locke and One when Locke is looking for horace. Neither show Lafleurs Jumpsuit. Where did you see it?

No that body was Bens father remember? The jumpsuit says Roger Workman, Hurley assumed Workman was his last name but Sawyer explained it was a job title.

I was still half asleep from work when I posted that. Im not positive hes in the pit BUT I'm 100% SURE Sawyer ran upon the remains of "LaFleur". Sorry I dont know the exact episode.

The DI grunt that Jack asks for directions tells him not to call him James because he hates it. I would assume that he requested LaFluer on his jumpsuit and that's what everyone there calls him anyway. They all call each other by first names and have first names on their jumpsuits except for him.
