Has Anyone Seen This ScreenCap Before?

I haven't searched through all of the old threads from season 3, so forgive me if this has been discussed before. I just came across this in another forum and it is being discussed now.

In the epi, Man Behind the Curtain, when Ben runs out into the jungle after his father forgot his birthday you see something very unusual. I never noticed it before. I also didn't believe it from the posting where I read about it and saw the photo. I thought it was an obvious photoshop deal. So, I went to Lost Photo Gallery and searched for it myself. Low and behold it was the same. Holy Cow! Look in the bushes behind young Ben. What do you see??????

You should go anyway and see for yourself! Even if you go the long way and go to Lost Photo Gallery via a google search and then find the show and go through the screen caps. Very bizzare! Now, add to that picture the fact that the whispers were talking at the time. Very weird.

Let me know if this has been discussed already and what you all thought or if this is new to you all as well as myself.

I am trying to keep this thread alive so I can get some input from you all. I have honestly never heard or nor seen this photo before and was really surprised! Help!

Is that what you believe it to be? Wow! What a coincidence since there were whispers at the time! I don't think TPTB could have written it any better then. But, I have to say, I am not so sure it is the light and coincidence.

well i saw 2 things look to the top right direction of the "skull" what is there at first looked like a badger but not only looks like the shape of a skull, but an actual skull!!!! of who or what i dont know but that could spark another mystery and what year is this does anyone know it must be around or b4 the truce cuz the weird pole that gave our losties major headaches is there

I rewatched that scene and whatever it is doesn't move at all, like it is a part of the background.

I'm going with whoever said spider web, it could just be the top of the bush I think it not moving kinda goes with the not ghost skull side of things. IMO

I would say it's matrixing. It happens alot in photos. But, we will see lol. I never underestimate the writers.

That sort of remind me of the hyroglyph in the temple where Ben is judged by smokie. See image below...

Looks a little skullish to me. Good find, I've always thought smokie had something to do with the whispers as well.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yes the whispers and we know what they're like most of the transcripts ive read they are discussing whether or not to reveal themselves?? who knows do you have the transcripts of the whispers for that scene?

Always kudos on the smokie connection another great theory, very plausable.

How great would it be though if smokie had his/her episode? I think they should give us a wee time line of smokie, what smokie does after a hard day of pillaging lol

Well it's no secret that my theory of smokie is that it is a machine, as a surveillance/ security system it would obviously have a microphone. I see an episode where the losties are at the control area of smokie and someone such as Hurley leaves the button on for the microphone. I say this because of the transcripts when Shannon is shot by Ana Lucia, someone says "Dude, dying sucks". Sounds like something straight from Hurley.

I believe the words being spoken in reverse are what happens to audio when it is being transmitted from the future.

i might be looking to hard or maybe i had too much sugar... but is that the bomb core at the bottom of the bush? or is it just a nuke looking stick? btw IT'S A SKULL AWSOM!
