Sayid and the past

Just a thought.... What if the whole thing with Sayid killing Elsa and the golf guy was in the past not a flash forward? Maybe he took the bracelet off Elsa and kept it. Maybe he had given it to Naomi some other time. Or some how she got the bracelet. What if she was Ben's spy? Probably not because what's his name hired her. :eek::eek::eek::eek:

well i never thought about it like like...i don't think so though......Ben seems to be holding Sayid's friends on the island over him ....i think this is the only reason Sayid is killing the people on Ben's list...I still think that Naomi could be r/t Sayid....is she young enough to be Nadia's daughter....

No Nadia is pretty young herself and Sayid can't be more than 35? Naomi is def mid 20's...I doubt thats the connection..but good idea :)

I don't think "Killer Sayid" is a flashback. The whole theme of the episode flashes was to illustrate him being a gun for hire, and obviously at the end we see who he will be working for. I'm sure he is doing this against his will. And Ben is using him. But most definitely in the future. How far into the future? Who knows.

speaking of Sayids past, the origanal guy in the hatch, the one who found Desmond on the beach, was with the military and had Sayid get info from a prisoner. can't remember if it was season 1 or 2. think it was 2. anybody remember?

he couldn't say he was one of the oceanic 6 to throw us off unless he could see the future to know that there was an oceanic 6...plus the guy he shoots on the golf course wouldn't react so strangely when sayid said this if it were just something that sayid made up because then it would be meaningless....

i think sayid's flashforwards were chronological.... i think the first on the golf course was just to establish that sayid is now the Iraqi Jason Bourne because this creates more tension when we see him in Germany...if they had not set this up for us the audience could think he was there doing anything but we know he is now a contract killer/hired assassin of some type so then they go all the way through that story and then show that he is Ben's Iraqi Jason Bourne....

I don't think they'd try to trick us so openly.. I just don't see why they'd do that. The show is so complicated, it just would seem weird.

also Elsa thinks she knows Sayid from somewhere which I assume is because he's been all over the news (even in Germany!) regarding the Oceanic 6. So I think we can safely assume that so far we have 4 definite oceanic 6 as we have seen them in flash forward i.e. Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid.

Agreed. That's why as much as I wanna know about Kate in the future, I'm pretty bummed that there won't be a new Oceanic 6 reveal in the next episode.
Who knows though, maybe they'll do both. :)
