Candle wax ??

Remember the orientation video for "The Swan"? The guy was talking about having to enter the numbers every 108 minutes. He said his name was "Marvin Candle"

In "The Orchid" video, it looks and sounds like the same guy, only he says his name is "Edgar Haliwax"

"Candle" from the first video and "Wax" from the second.

ANy thoughts? Mean anything or just a name change?

Yah I noticed that too, I'm wondering if all these names (Wickmund, Halowax, Candle) all have something to do with LIGHT as we've seen has become a huge component of the island? But yah its interesting and I'm sure have a HUGE significance.

Yeah, I think I agree with the light thing, that sounds pretty...well, sound. :) Even so, Lost is tricky enough to have it be somethin' else that's equally significant, so who knows.

well i'm liking this Miles thing. it would make some good sense to why Miles is so on edge about finding Ben and seeming to want to accomplish this primary mission as well. Miles the candle maker's son??

To go along with that. If you go back and look you will see that in the first video he is not moving his left (?) hand. It sort of just lays there by his side. Then in the second video he actually has movement and by the third he is talking like a fellow pisan.
