Did the opener of Namaste just show the crash of 316 on Hydra island and then flash "three years earlier" and show Jack, Kate and Hurley meeting up with Sawyer and Jin in 1977????

So much for 2008 then, I'd say!

Sawyer also said its been 3 years since the helicopter crash, and Kate said its been 3 years for them. So time on and off the island is pretty similar.

Apparently NOT, since one was in 1977 and the other in 2007! How do you get time is the same???????????????????????

The dates are different but time passes the same on and off the island. Thats what I'm saying.

How do you not get the same time? Sawyer says they were living in the past for 3 years, Kate says it's been 3 years since they got rescued. 3 years is 3 years..

I agree with that. Although they have all gone back in time, they have both spent about 3 years away from one another. They certainly have been there for over 30 years while O6 has only been gone for 3. I don't see any proof of that.

And look, yet ANOTHER FULL MOON!!!!! When Frank and Sun docked at Pala there was another full moon shining in the sky. Hmmmmm......ain't that peculiar??????????? It is always, more than not, a full moon....how can time pass in a normal fashion when the phases of the moon never change????????????

I think that's just for effect. I don't think it has anything to do with time. What's a scene at night without a full moon on a television show??? Nonsense.

So, let me get this straight.

Kate said its been 3 years since she left on the helicopter.

Sawyer said its been 3 years since they left.

And yet you will still maintain that 3 years passing on and off the island is not the same?

That's what I saw. 30 years.I'm sitting here by myself and saw that and said "What the H#LL?":eek: Then realized they were going back to 1977. But yet it's only been 3 yrs. since they've been gone. Sometimes this show makes feel as dumb as a box of rocks! LOL

That's because the window that Mrs. Hawking told them about, or the probability of one, was to the past...I don't think she knew that though. And perhaps because all of them were not together on the plane, exactly the same, it changed the time frame. That is likely why some are in the past and some are not. Now all they have to do is reconcile the past with the present so they can all be together.:eek:
