true ture but she was so hot i did not care she could cry 24/7 i dont mind



boone was beginning to be my fave in the first season then they killed him so then i started to like charlie then they killed him same with mr echo he was not my fav but he was up there but the wrighters are not to blame cus he did not wont to be on the show any more



but at least charlie had a really good death scene he was all heroic and it was all dramatic

Mr. Eko -- for some reason i keep having this urge to call him Dr. Eko...
Hugo "Hurley" Reyes -- his character is consistent and the luck theme is interesting now
John "Crazy Legs" Locke -- his internal struggle to find meaning in it all is interesting and his faith is central to the theme of this show
Dr. Jack Shephard -- he was once on my list of top 5 people i want to see die, which was partly to do with his ridiculous behavior in 316 and partly because I feel this character was largely created for business reasons (i.e. the annoying romantic doctor who saves everyone blah blah). but I realize his importance in the theme of this show plus I also realize that he is very much struggling to maintain control, which is interesting to watch and relate-able to me.
Benjamin Linus -- very cool bad guy
Shannon Rutherford -- blonde + incest == HOTT
Achara -- beware of exotic matter
Daniel Faraday -- this show started becoming Star Trek convention material when this guy showed up
Dr. Pierre Chang - they shouldn't give this guy too much air time, he is cool as he is and letting him talk would probably ruin it. it would suck if Dr. Marvin Candle starts getting into some love triangle now.

My favs are Des, Sawyer, Hurley and Ben (but not in the "Lockeing" kinda way). He's such an awesome butthead!

Least favs are Shannon and Claire.

And I agree with Chester about Sawyer not being the same Sawyer this season we have grown to love. I prefer my Sawyers over cooked with a big side of sarcasm! He's been pretty watered-down, until this last episode.

Locke is my favorite, and has been since the beginning. Eko took his place for some time, but now that he's dead, well, there's not much he can do about it now. :p
Runners up would be Sawyer and Hurley. Desmond isn't bad either, nor is Sayid.

Not sure about least favorite. Nikki and Paulo are just too obvious, Rose and Bernard don't do much. I've never liked Sun, nor Kate. Jack used to be my least favorite, but he's gotten more interesting. I'll have to go with Jacob.

My favorite: Charlie. Even dead. Hands down.

Second: Almost everyone else.
I like them because of their flaws. I love the character interaction and seeing why and how people became who they are.

Least favorite: Michael. The character was not well developed at all. His whole purpose seems to have been yelling "WAAAAAAALT!" and screwing people over.

I didn't care about Nikki and Paolo enough for them to be my least favorites.

My take on Sawyer seems to be different from a lot of other peoples' and I think it might be fun to pick one character at a time and do a 'deconstruction' thread to see everyone's analysis of them.

A revised list of favorite characters (although I don't think I ever made a list to begin with so I guess it's not really a revised list after all.)

1 Ben of course. I hate him but he's my favorite character.

2 Locke -without Ben and Locke there would be no Lost. The guy is the energizer bunny x's 2. He's relentless.

3 Kate because, well if I was going to be stranded on an Island with one the characters she'd be it.

4 Hurley -He's not too smart but he is the heart and soul of the survivors. He's the anti-Ben.

5 Sawyer -He's cool. The Island has turned him from leech on society to a caring and usefull human being.

6 Juliet - It took a while for me to warm up to her but her unflappable poise under fire and good deeds have won me over.

7 Saiid -He should have been the leader of the survivors from day one. And he is one bad-ass mofo!

8 Jin -Another one who has become a better person since comming to the Island.

9 Miles -He's such a smart ass.

10 Des- Somebody had to be #10.

Notice I didn't include any dead people.

I think he did a pretty good job of explaining some things. I think Sayid really started to get it, when he met young Ben.

Sawyer needed to handle him like he would any other Hostile to make it look believable. The DI can't find out they've been conned.

Since showing up at the airport in cuffs Sayid looked sad and confused. A few times it looked like he would have talked to someone, but they turned away or walked past. Poor guy. Of course, I wouldn't want to be Ben when Sayid catches up to him. He better have a really, really good plan after making that guy go someplace against his will.

I don't think it was so much 'letting them know who's boss" or "Putting them in their place," even though that was the effect. I think after three years, he just IS boss. I also think he's better at it than Jack or Locke because he does think.

Yeah, I think he's just got to stop telling people what to do and not really listening to anyone - just putting up a dominating barrier against things which are against his current beliefs. I think when Achara said that he was a "leader" of men, she was pointing out a character flaw.
