Sayid, Elsa, and estrogen

I've rewatched the last epi and have a question more for the women of the lost forum.
Why did Elsa seem genuinely upset when Sayid basically confessed to her his mission,when she pretty much knew from the beginning all about him and was probably going to have to kill him anyway???? I mean what was up with that?
Am I just an insensitive male or were they just crocodile tears so Sayid would drop his guard.?

I think they honestly may have started falling for each other and when Sayid said he would tel her everything she KNEW that he really had loved her....the whole time she thought he was playing some "role" and it was all fake, but she realized that he was really falling for her so I think she was genuinely upset that she had to hurt him and when her beeper went off it kinda snapped her out of it and got back to her mission. But thats what I think...and I think Sayid's tears were real....he did what he had to do but was devastated he killed her.

Basically I don't think she ever expected for him to drop his guard....it proved he loved her and that shocked her because maybe she was falling for him too.

croc tears for sure!. she had to play it up to the end or she wouldn't have been able to pull off shooting him, wich didn't work out all that well for her anyway.HA HA I thought she was to ugly for him anyway. sorry, I'm known for being brutally honest ;)
