It seemed huge to me that Hurley saw Jacobs cabin. But it seemed to get lost in the shows shuffle. t reinforced itself this last episode when Locke couldn't find the cabin, Hurley knew what he was looking for without seeing the ash and then Ben's reaction to him no words just a Ben "AHAA" look. It also seems like he's the 1st of the O-6 to be beckoned back. If Charlie was a ghost the other patient wouldn't of pointed him out. So I don't think that was Hurley seeing things. If true then all we know is the island just wants Hurley back, so far. I just can't let it go that Hurley had a connection to the island prior to the crash with the numbers and after he leaves with "Charlie". Should I just forget about it and call him crazy? It is easier they say.

Hurley isn't crazy. If he was crazy he wouldn't know enough to want to be protected by jail or the hospital. No one gives him enough credit.

He's not crazy.. Give it a little time! It was just, what, a day ago on the island that he saw it? There's so much other stuff going on. Hurley saw the cabin, and that's huge.. we'll be hearing about it soon.

I say by the end of this whole series Locke and Hurley are gonna be the kings of the island, lol. Can't wait.

I think Hurley is supposed to be "special" in a way. Just like Locke, Walt, and Ben are supposed to be "special". But I wonder if everyone on the island is "special" in some way or another. That's my guess.

I think Hurley is Jacob's new chosen one. Locke replaced Ben. Hurley replaced Locke. I think Hurley is just laying low because of something Sayid did.

It's also very interesting that Hanso also owns the psych hospital that Hurley is in. Plus he also has a greater relationship to the numbers.

Sayid saw Walt, Jack saw his father, Hurley saw the cabin, Kate saw the horse. And these are all people we have seen off the island in the future so far. So I think they are all as important as each other in some way. Did any other of the original crash people {who are still alive} see any strange manifestations on the island?

Well Hurley also saw his "imaginary" friend Dave. That's all I remember.

Sawyer also saw Kate's horse but he is not an O6 so I don't know if there is a connection there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hurley ended up being the most special. Because Jack and Locke are as bad as each other right now, they're both dictators, but Hurley is a softie and he's much nicer.

Yeah I felt that Hurley was the one in control when Jack came to see him in the hosp. When he apoligized for siding with Locke it sounded like everything would had been alright if he had chosen differantly. He was also kicking Jacks butt in horse.

I dont think Hurley is being overlooked at all. But do think he is of major importance.

I think Hurley is going to be more of the story in the future than in the past, especially since he saw Jacob's cabin. That really seemed to give Ben and Locke a bad scare. Hurley saved the day when Ben's people had some of the Losties. I don't think he gets enough credit, for a lot of the things he's done.

How do you know the Psych hospital is owned by Alver Hanso? WHo is Hanso again? The architect/founder of Dharma?

Alvar appeared in the 1975 DHARMA Orientation Film, introducing the DHARMA Initiative to recruits, and explaining its purpose to the world. The project began due to Alvar discovering the Valenzetti Equation, which had been commissioned by the United Nations in 1962. Its findings predicted the exact amount of time until mankind extinguished itself as a species. Hanso built research facilities on an island to research and attempt to modify the equation's results (thereby changing the date of the "end of the world").

It also seems Hurley might have the power to make the cabin vanish too.
