where are the losties?

Ok so...in season 4 Daniel was transporting people back from the frieghter to the beach after they found there was a bomb on it...daniel gets sucked in with the moving of the island...but...where the heck is everyone else?
Rose? Bernard? the extra people just walkin around? where did they run off to?:(

That's what I'm curious about. Since it's been so many episodes without any clue that it will be mentioned soon, I say we put forward some possibilities.

If Rose/Bernard are in 1977:

It's been 3 years since the flashes stopped and so they couldn't have been hiding out alone for all this time. Since they aren't with the Dharma Initiative, my guess is that they have alligned with the Hostiles (Richard and co.). At first it doesn't seem in their character, but they can't have formed their own camp away from everyone else, they would have eventually come into contact with the Hostiles.

If they are in 2007:

They are on the bigger island, which is apparently abandoned/
That being said, maybe there are some of Keamy's men left...or did they all get killed at the helicopter shootout? And weren't there some "Others" left as well... Isabel, and the Aussie flight attendent from 815 with the kids? WHEN are the producers going to explain that one?
