So, I decided to rewatch Lost from the beginning to refresh myself and possibly pick up a few things that I may have missed, or rather didn't mean anything to me then :)

The first is in season 1 when Locke goes off aloneto kill the bore, Kate and michael are sure they see the 'monster' head in his direction. We Only see a POV shot of Locke, fromthe point of view of either a bore or the 'monster', we never find out. Later after Locke returns with the dead bore, someone asks him if he saw the monster....he seems to be lying when he replies "no". Now, later that same episode Jack and Locke are discussing the island and magic etc...Locke says to Jack "I've looked I to the eye of this island and it is beautiful". Did Locke have a face to face elightened expierence with the island, was the smoke the window for this? I know it seems as if the smoke has killed other people, but are those just assumptions we made? Maybe the smoke only takes out the bad guys?

The other comment that struck me was when Jack was arguing about burning the fusal lodge and saying that they didn't have time...Charlie says something to the effect of.."really? Seems that we are made of time". I though this was cute, and so early on in the show we had no idea about the time travel.

The other thing I was wondering about was a comment Kate made. When Sayid,Kate, Sawyer, Boone and Shannon were hiking for higher groin to try and get a signal for the transponder, Sawyer was being a jerk and didn't want to set up camp. Sawyer wanted to head back to the beach in the dark alone and Kate tells him "if you keep walking that way, you won't make it to the beach" Sawyer replies "how so" and Kate just says "trust me". I guess this could be because of her expeirence in jungle this far and seeing the monster, but there was somethng odd about her responce, almost as if she already knows more about the island.

I rewatched the pilot episodes about a week ago, and I saw a parallel between the six people who hiked into the island (Kate, Sayid, Sawyer, Charlie, Shannon, Boone) deciding to lie to everyone else about Rousseau's message and the Oceanic 6 who, not too long ago, did the very same thing and lied about their experience on the island to the rest of the world. And both were groups of 6.

From the first group of 6, Kate went and told Jack about Rousseau's message. I wonder if she'll be the first one to tell someone else about the Oceanic 6 lie - like whoever she gave Aaron to.

Oh sorry, fuselage? Whatever dude, get over yourself. The amount of people on here who don't know the difference between there, they're and their is astounding, I just don't need to point it out.

That he did. Well, then maybe Kate will be the first woman in the O'6 to tell someone. :p

i think whatever happened to locke with smokie then is similar to what happened to rousseau's crew and smokie. they became enlightened too in some way.

Locke said he looked into the island's eye and said it was beautiful. i think its beleived that it was the "smoke monster"; but it took on a differant shape or something. because that monster also dragged John through jungle. Does the smoke monster has split personalities?(little monster humor there)... but what ever that entity is, it has an agenda. it remains to be seen what that agenda is.

Remember Smokie's encounter with Rousseau's crew? It grabbed the one guy and dragged him into the tunnel near the Temple. Maybe it did the same to Locke, it simply carried him to that area so that he could be "enlightened".

I think this could all come into play later on in the series - for example it is the future thems (eg. kate) on the island at that time.
Im thinking something like the end of the third harry potter book/film - where they have to go back in time but in theory it had already been happening throughout the story.

Well, I admit "fusal lodge" is my ignorance on the spelling....."higher groin" is iPhone error :)

You all had a good laugh ... Hardy har har! Let's move on!

Her husband was about to shoot her when she killed him. I really really want to know why he wanted to kill his wife and unborn child. I wonder if we'll ever find out.
