I'm not exactly sure who I'd be since my personality may change some after being in a near death plane crash. But I would probably be a lot like Hurley. I like to be funny and I'd like to try to calm people down with the different stuff Hurley does. But I wasn't ever in a mental institution.

Good q Zeke. it' an interesting q because I think what we perceive of orselves can be very diff. to other perceive. Howevr, based soley on personality and not whom we would like then I think I am a combinatio.
I can be a smart ass pain in the ass like Sawyer, but also am very laid back like Charlie and Hurley, with a touch of hero complex like Jack.
it would also be interesting to hear other peoples reads about us from the posts.

back dudes, I was studying for finals, so I won't be here alot this week. Well seems like there alot of postes but not alot of posters, yet anyways.

Nobody here knows me, so I'll have to answer for myself to participate. I broached this exact topic with my brother a year or so ago (also, who were we most like on The Office). For what it's worth (admittedly, not much), the character on Lost who most consistently does what I would do, and declines to do what I would decline to do, under similar circumstances, is Sayid.

Little wonder we spent so much time fighting during our lives. :rolleyes: Among our rationale: I often find myself knowing (or believing I know) how things ought to be done, while no one is listening to me, until I just give up in frustration (I'm also kind of shy); my brother's rationale was that he's very social and outgoing, and terrible at perceiving how he's actually coming across to his audience.

Yeah... they mentioned in the commentary that it was known from the start that David Brent was only there until he was inevitably fired. They had to make Michael capable of hanging onto his job for considerably more episodes. They state that there's a continuum of competence among the Dunder-Mifflin managers; they made sure that Michael doesn't do his job so badly that he would be fired. In the ep showing all of the managers in the same room, he wishes that his film would be enough of a presentation; but, he actually does bring the necessary report. Craig, the manager from Albany, doesn't show up with anything (and is apparently best known from being thrown out of every strip club in his town). I eventually warmed to the American version; but, at first, I didn't know how I could accept anyone other than Ricky Gervais in that role. His poem "Excaliber..." Owwww! :o
