This question is posed, and answered....

What is the meaning or significance of the two skeletons that Jack and Kate found in the cave of season 1?

CUSE: The answer to that question goes to the nature of the timeline of the island. We don't want to say too much about it, but there are a couple Easter eggs embedded in [the Feb. 7 episode], one of which is an anagram that actually sheds some light on the skeletons and hints at a larger mythological mystery that will start to unfold later in the season.

I'm curious if anyone has every found the hidden easter egg in this epi and solved the anagram? If so.....can I have the answer? :D

That's what I thought...but the date of the article (Jan 31, 2007) Feb. 7 air date was my hint that this is old news.

Why are you looking for season 4? The original post said the easter egg was found in the february 7, 2007 episode which was in season 3. The article posted accurately answered the question. The anagram word was "Mittleos".

Oh, I see. I got confused because there's also an episode in season 4 that aired on feb. 7 you know. My bad.

Hey! Yea. This is old news but it's new to me :). What I've found is the airline that Juliette was supposed to take to the island was called Herarat Aviation. Some speculated that this meant 'HER A RAT' but it's also an anagram for Earhart.

Even though Jack said that the bodies had to be 40 or 50 years old according to the condition of the clothes, Locke said that they must be way older than that an then made a comment about our very own Adam and Eve. What if these two are the losties? Which two could they be?
