Why did they show Horace building the cabin if it has no significance to him being Jacob ? Or dose it ?

I don't think he is jacob, but i do think that he has something to do with him if that makes sense.

I think that whatever happens to bring Jacob into being (as weve seen him so far anyway) causes him in the early stages to be kept away from the everyone else, so maybe Horace builds the cabin to keep him quarentined if you like.
