1. Did anyone notice the strange wall poster above the computer and walkie talkies in Brig area? When Sawyer visits Sayid and tells the other guy to leave. There were weird worm-like tunnels on the poster. What are those things? A map of Smokie's tunnels? ?????

2. Did you notice the two workman's saws hanging on the wall behind Sayid when Ben came to see him at the Build Our World station in Santa Domingo? One has a BLACK handle and one has a WHITE handle. Just above the white handled saw is a big black smudge. The 2 saws are mirror opposites of each other hanging there. And did you notice Sayid SENSED that Ben was there before he saw him?

3. The blanket on Oldham's tent contains a design that has two spirals connected to each other in a group of four that create a kind of Octagon pattern. There is a cross in the center. The spirals are mirror opposites, too. There are black squares inside white squares as a part of the design on the blanket.

4. Hurley is wearing a RED shirt under his Dharma coveralls. Rut Roh!

5. The five pieces of bacon that Sawyer fries up are arranged so that three of the pieces could resemble or form a pi symbol.

6. The barn owl (An Anubis-like bird?) statue that is sitting on the table when they vote to kill Sayid looks very interesting. Owls are seen as omens of death in some cultures.

7.Oldham sounds very much like old Ham, a character from the Bible.

8.When Oldham drugged Sayid does the area look like where Kate and Juliet hid in the trees when Smokie was after them?

Ha! I didn't see that--I got so excited about the pi symbol!! It's just another form of pork--- bacon and ham that is.

You are right! Good one!! Ham is Noah's 2nd son, the middle guy between his brothers Japheth and Shem. Ham is the father of Cush, EGYPT, Put, and Canaan. Ham shows some disrespect for his father Noah and he earns a curse on Canaan. Ham is occasionally a synonym for Egypt, one of Ham's sons. There's probably a lot more there. I'll see if I can post more if it seems helpful.

Beach, all fantastic points!!!! I can answer question one for you. The map was of the barracks. There are tunnels connecting all the houses. I've mentioned this before in relation to Ben's house. I have posted about his basement and how special it seemed. So, there ya go according to Lostpedia.
