beep beep sound

just after sayid kills the russian guy and walks over to meet ben we hear a beep beep. its sounds kind of like a car alarm being acrivated but the car there doesnt look modern. anyone else hear this?

so what? i fail to see the point, the writers did that just to make you get a feel for the surrounding, look, feel, sound, smell, and taste.

Ok before any of you smart alecs out there, smell could be a dumpster, taste be a pizza ect ect

well just it looked as though ben wasnt relaxed and waiting for sayid. seemed to me he had only just arrived as sayid was arriving.as for the beep, first i wondered if any1 else picked up on it. as for what it could be well maybe some kind of timer or alarm clock to notify a specific event has arrived. idk really just thinking aloud

i heard it. sayid heard it. he wasn't too worried about it. maybe it was signifying that noone heard the shots and life is going on as normal. my .02
