Anyone know what horses are supposed to signify in dreams? I'm pretty sure there is some psychological explanation for it. I thought it had something to do with sex?
I'm re-watching old Lost episodes and I think I understand that the relationship and feelings Kate has towards Sawyer and Jack are analogous to the Kate's mother's relationship with her military father and her real father but I'm still not getting what the Black Horse (http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Kate%27s_horse) has to do with anything.

Bax, I don't know what the horse was doing in your dream, running? Had a rider? grazing? just standing there? Accompanied by other horses?
but anyway, supposedly, a lighter horse signifies a romantic interest, a brown horse some sort of endeavor/pursuit in life, and a black horse a funeral.

Only rainbow colored unicorns appear in my dreams and they are always having sex with leprechauns...
Shanon's funeral was in that episode... but I still don't get the horse thing.
