What items would we want to salvage from YOUR luggage for survival on the island?

I would have to say, some extra drawers, my toothbrush, smokes if was still smoking, a lighter, pen and paper, any clothes, and sunglasses. How about you?

Haha oh yah I love that movie....umm I would salvage my razor, hair brush (if it wasn't taken), toothbrush, mascara and lip gloss :)

lol, was thinkin about luggage n its contents, and was trying to remember if any pax were carrying cell phones. dont remember any, but, lol doesnt mean they didnt have any. just dont remember seeing any. did i blink during that part ? :/

Yah I thought of that too, did NO ONE have a cell phone? I mean I doubt it would have worked anyway with the transmissions all messed up haha but I mean c'mon! At least attempt!!

Oooo yes good memory.....but don't you think they'd keep one to play around with like they did the transmitter?? I mean Sayid worked on that forever...oh well, guess it wouldn't be the show if they could just use the cell to call for help haha :p

I'd like to have everything! But If Sawyer stole any of it, it'd be a good way to end up wrestling with him.

Sawyer wants things for his things (like a kiss from Kate for inhaler information), so what would you be willing to trade Sawyer for:

Toothpaste
Deorderant
Toothbrush
A Book
A Magazine

well i would want a book so maybe a little oily backrub for sawyer (although i am sure it would be for my benefit)

and i would be having a gun so i may just have to take a cue from analucia *sigh* such a chore! :p ;)

Welp If I was to crash on an island. I would first look for my wife is she was with me. After that Id hunt down parts of metal or any super sharp objects. Find some belts and make a knife of some type. Next id find a crap load of shirts. With shirts you can filter out the sea water. "i don't know why noone on LOST has done this" filter it out into some type of water holding object. If it was metalic you could warm it up to santize the water and bowl. Pluss the shirts help keep the sun off of your back and head.If my shoes where ruien then id search out my size. Id try to find some type of back pack.

lol yeah id find some bras to use as sling shots. And belive it or not Maxi pads make great band-aids. :-)

Assuming you crash on a desserted island, I'd do like Archangel and look for wife & daughter first, then anything sharp, anything to use to start a fire with, clothes, and shoes. The rest you can find on the island. Some rope would be nice too.

I am not sure about filtering sea water, after its filtered, you still have salt water. If you filter fresh water, that would be good.
