Penny Was Born on the island.

If Widmore is there in 1977, it is now highly likely that Penny was born on the island. There is still the possibility that Penny's mother could have left the island to give birth to her, but I see no reason for this. We know from Amy that the problem with pregnant women giving birth on the island does not happen until sometime after the birth of Ethan. So Penny had to have been born on the island, so who is her mother? Ellie?

Good question. She may not be born just yet though. Ethan was just born and she looks about the same age, mama could be prego with her right now or she may not even be consived yet, but yah, im guessing we will find out soon.

born by 1977. They seem to be hinting at an Ellie/Widmore
connection. If Ellie=Mrs Hawking, might she be Penny's mother too? Is that why she ended up so involved in Desmond's fate.

Maybe Ellie is Penny's mother. Which would be weird, making Penny and Daniel half-siblings, unless.. do we know anything about Daniel's father? Could Charles be Daniel's father as well? Maybe Ellie and Charles left the island together, via donkey wheel or not. Maybe after Charles was tricked into turning the wheel by Ben, Ellie left, and they each took one of the children. I've got a hundred what-ifs jumping around in my head right now.

I am assuming he is her biological father because I haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise. We don't know if the others took Ethan. Amy could be a spy for the hostiles, and therefore after the purge rejoins her group, or Ethan like Ben could have sought the others out on his own. In any event, I don't think the others start stealing children until they begin having problems with women giving birth on the island.

Penny could easily be Charles's daughter and not Hawking's if Charles left the island by way of the wheel and jumped to another time.

I have always had a feeling that Penny was likely born on the island since Widmore was connected to it. This season since the Aijira flight, I have wondered if Ben did kill Penny, would Des run straight to the island via the Elizabeth with Penny's body?!

I like the theory that she might not be his daughter. Ben stole alex so maybe charles widmore stole penny from the DI

If Penny was born on the island, she has to leave the island at a relatively young age, because as far as we know she doesn't have any memories of it. Now when it comes to Daniel I am not so sure. He has always acted as if he had been there before and he knows a lot about whats going on, so maybe Penny leaves when she is very young and Daniel stays until after the purge.

Since Richard and Ben have means of leaving the island, then it is likely that Widmore as leader travels off the island, so he could have knocked up some random chick off the island in the 70s resulting in Penny. Who knows...

I believe for the sake of the kids Charles and Elle went into a hiding kinda.They knew that if the others knew of the children it mite have been a bit more than they could have defended.Richard says he does not answer to them,so I mite be wrong but maybe they didn't haave kids together they mite be Family

From what we have seen on the show, all that we know is that Eloise Hawking is Daniel Faradays mother and Charles Widmore is Pennys father. We do not have full confirmation that Ellie from 1954 is in fact Eloise Hawking. I think that it is highly likely, but we do not know that for certain.

The thing to consider at this point in time is how well the others/hostiles have access to getting off the island. Richard was able to visit John at least twice as a child, so we should be able to imagine that Charles could do the same. This could create endless possibilities for Penny's birth and childhood

I don't think they could be Juliett and Sawyers kids. Even if they had them in 1978 that would only make them 26 and they are definately older than that. But Widmore kidnapping Penny is a very interesting idea.

That would be interesting if Sawyer and Kate are Penny's Parents..but I know for sure Jack will have a big part in the ending...why else would Christain be on the Island with Claire.

And why is Claire with her father Cristian??? There is a reason for this....???but what is the quesiton.
