When Juliet and Kate are talking to Roger by Ben's bedside did you see the man sitting there ansd then they showed the same angle again and he was gone. White hair beard.

I didn't catch him,maybe it's Jacob?
When we saw his apparition in season 3,he also kind of looked like Sawyer.

I saw him too, but I didn't give it much thought.

He could have been someone important though, because if Juliet didn't want Roger to sit in there with him, why would she let some other guy?

I noticed that.
Wasn't there a guy with a beard that was seen a lot of times in Man behind the Curtain in the background? Maybe it was him.

OK, on even further review, it looks as though it is probably just another patient in the infirmary. The person never is shown and disappears - he is there the whole scene. Also, he does not seem to have a beard.. i have a pic, but I can't figure out how to post it here without puttin it on the net..

His his there in the next shot.. You can see his feet sticking up in the bed!!!!

When I take a look at those pictures.

It seems to me that the man is laying on a bed. And that later the bed is empty.

yes the man is laying on a bed. In the next shot where he "isn't there", if you use the rectangle on the upper wall as a reference, you will see that the shot where we can't see the guy, it appears he would be "behind" Kate, because it's a different angle. I think this is much ado about nothing.
