initials in bracelets

Naomi and the woman that Sayid killed in the Economist episode were wearing bracelets with inscriptions. I believe the initials were R.G. Is that right? And how do you think they're connected?

It said "N. I'll always be with you. R.G". I think they both worked for the same boss and that is who R.G. is.

I read an interview somewhere with the producers of lost and they said that there was no significance between Naomi's bracelet and Elsa's. In his words, "sometimes a bracelet is a bracelet."
