This could contain spoilers but only if you don't watch the previews for the next episode.

Did you all catch what Miles said to Sawyer? "You're going to die!" Do you all think that was just in terms of the purge or is Sawyer alone going to die? Please no!!!

I'm thinking Miles will slip up somehow and thus everyone will be in danger because Dharma finds that they were lieing about who they were.

As for Sawyer dieing, I'm not too sure. Maybe he'll die trying to protect the others. I think some people here have misunderstood him, thinking he has been selfish for trying to protect the "life he's built". What they don't seem to understand is that if any of them destroy that, they're ALL screwed.

Well, I think that's unfair to judge Sawyer that way. I have to admit that I was initially disappointed by his lack of loyalty to his fellow Losties but he made the best hand out of the cards that he was dealt! He really does have a pretty good life and the 06 returning really does threaten that. His life is probably the most stable it has ever been and I can't blame him for feeling the way that he does.

I agree that Miles is going to spoil it for Sawyer / Kate, et al. He will end up blowing their cover and it will all start to unravel.

I am assuming Miles speaks to whoever the dead body is in the back of the van and that is how he knows Sawyer is going to die. My only guess is that it's Daniel and he was in the future and saw Sawyer bite it. That will break my heart.

Thats not what the clip showed. It showed Sawyer punching Phil and Miles voice was heard as a voice over saying "You're going to get killed..." Then it cut to Miles driving a Dharma van. These previews are always a bunch of clips jumbled together and never mean the obvious.

Well, I am going to cling to that Woogie!! They always go so fast, it's hard to really get a clear idea. I could have sworn he was looking at Sawyer and saying that to him but I like your version better!!:)

Exactly! Well, except for last week's clips which showed Ben telling John that he broke the rules to come back and be judged and the obvious meaning was that he returned to the Island when he wasn't supposed to in order to have Smokey judge him, which is exactly what happened in the episode.

But, excepting that, it's been at least a week since the preview showed us what was actually going to happen. :p

lol well yeah, but the preview lead us to believe that Ben killed Penny and he didn't. so at least it was a little tricky.

And also, Ben wasn't judged for breaking the rules. He was judged on how he raised his daughter and his intentions to protect the island. Not necessarily because he left the island.

The preview clips have always been insightful but also confusing. We never know who is talking to who and if its what really happens. Just like the one epi where they are playing Risk it looked like Hurley was telling everyone they are going to die but we found out in the epi e was referring to Risk. Not of course that there was more meaning to that than just a game but for the time being it is.

I agree, however I believe that Sawyer will die. I have said this since the begining of season 4. I don't know why, but i have a feeling. Also the writers posted a list saying that one of these characters will die: Sawyer, Ben, Jin, Faraday, or Miles. I don't any of them to die. But if i had to pick, I would say Jin.

I think the clips are purposefully misleading. Like the clip a couple of weeks ago that looked the the precursor to a cat fight between Juliet and Kate, it was just a few words taken out of context. I just hope Miles is funny. I loved him and Hurley talking about time travel.

Exactly. The promo is just to confuse you. It makes you watch the next episode. About the only real thing you can get out of the promo are which characters you get to see.

I thought it might be Faraday after Sawyer said that "he's not around any more", but that seems like a pretty obvious red herring.

Sawyer has always been my favorite character, I found it hard to believe though that people felt he could have done more to help Sayid. Honestly, he knew Sayid for what, three months? They werent close, Sayid actually tortured him at one point, and Sayid leaves and wouldnt have even come back if he hadnt gotten captured. Sawyer didnt owe him anything, Sawyer was being loyal to his life, to his friends, to Juliette, not some random guy, he knew way back when for three months.

Honestly what did Sayid want, besides trying to pull Ben/locke on Ben. I dont see the point in trying to kill the unkillable but well thats just me. Sayid is in 1977, he has no where to go, no safe haven, and he chose to go against Sawyers best efforts. If you ask me, Sayid betrayed Sawyer, not the other way around.

Sorry to go off topic and all, I don't think Sawyer will die, the previews are very misleading, I do however think happy days in dharmaville are coming to an end, and our flashies may be on the run pretty soon.

Faraday has an episode in two weeks called The variable. Sawyer has none.
