We haven't seen her at all ever since 'The Man Behind the Curtian'. We haven't seen her in the last three episodes wherein it would have made sense, and we didn't see her in any flashbacks in this episode either. What is the big deal? Did her actor die or something? Did they just throw her in the same pile as Libby? I mean wtf.

Annie is on the island in 1977 Dharma time, or should be rather. Quite possible we see her in an episode or two. I bet she comes to check on Ben once he rejoins Dharma after the Others saved him...maybe? :)

I guess i may be one of the few that doesnt think Annie is that big of a part of the story line. I think she was just a device to show that Ben wasn't all evil.

Good thought, I would imagine that she has a little more importance since Ben kept the wooden doll all those years, but I mostly agree with you. I think with the time traveling aspect, every character has the chance of being more important (i.e. someone's mother, father, brother, sister...). I think some people are just meant to fade away, but who knows?

On the Season 3 DVD, the producers stated Annie is a major influence on Ben, and will play a "seismic" part in future storylines ....well wtf ?

I stand corrected, but there is still almost a season and a half of episodes to come, plenty of time for her to make an appearance.

After Ben's encounter with the smoke monster, maybe he will be redeemed. I just wonder if we will see an older version meeting Ben (played by Emerson) or if the younger one will re-appear in young Ben's story.

In any case, here's a photo of young Annie (Madeline Carroll) at last weekends LOST Weekend Fan Party:

and yes - that's the corpse of Roger Linus in the background!
