Well vincent meets christain shephard in the jungle - he cant be imagining someone he has never seen before - unless he had a little sniff inside the coffin at some point before the crash or just after.

anyhoo - this is possibly further proof that the dead who appear ARE not hallucinations.

B, very good logic, I think you may be onto something.

I am still stubborn in believing that the real Christian Sheppard and Locke's father are on the island.

I'm with ya on Jacks dad, I definately think we will see him again soon, but Sawyer killed Locke's dad, I cant really see him coming back. Only Patchy has that many lives....lol

Smokie and Jacob are in cahoots, no doubt. They may be one in the same.

seems like they have taken that character (Locke Dad) about as far as they can though....Sawyer got his revenge and so did Locke, and they havent show any relevance to him and any other character.

i think you are quite right! but it does seem odd - i am suspicious and would have needed to see for sure!

Locke is more a focal point of this show, than some give him credit, so who knows maybe he hid his dad for some reason.

Someone pointed out to me that when hurley looked into jacob's cabin they thought that the man in the rocking chair was Christian, It was soo quick that i couldn't tell but they thought that was who it looked like.
Wouldn't that be intresting...

most folks have said that but i really dislike him so i am hoping its not!

I agree, but he is the one secondary character with the most connections to people.

They have to eventually address the fact that Jack and Claire are brother/sister
so look for Christian to re-appear when that happens

Oh yeah! I was wondering when that would come about. I mean if they would all talk about themselves a little more before the island they could figure it out. But who knows.

he will defo be back in flashbacks but if he was jacob i would be gutted!

There has been talk that Vincent is not really a dog but an incarnation of the smoke monster. Didn't something strange happen between Walt and Vincent before the plane crash?

bunnydixon

Oh great point Bunny, I love it :) Maybe the writers showed us that mobisode where Vincent meets Christian to show us that he's NOT a hallucination....you are def on to something!

Let me try to find it. It was in season 1.

I recently just rewatched season 1 and I can't remember anything significant regarding Vincent....the only thing I remember is that he would run off a lot, sometimes for a few days and Walt would be looking for him but Locke would always tell him "he'll always come back to you" so it was kind of weird.

So maybe I'm confused. Wasn't VIncent living with Walt and his mom when Michael first met Walt? I thought there was something strange that happened in their house that Walt caused and the dog was involved somehow? Now I'm really going to have to rewatch.

Yah Vincent was Walt's step dad's dog. Michael told Walt he could keep the dog so that Walt would agree to go with him. The strange thing that happened was Walt got frustrated with his step dad and caused a bird to crash into the glass door and die. He even told Michael that he wanted him to have full custody since Walt was "special" and that things seem to happen when he's around. Nothing happened though regarding Vincent, in fact he was rarely seen in any flashbacks.
