remember when sawyer calls karl bobby and then mentions the brady bunch? well karl has never heard of the brady bunch. this went on air in 1969 which would indicate that he has been on the island at least since then so he clearly doesnt age either. i know a lot of people were certain of it but now he HAS to be a native like richard is. Unless we are wrong about the aging thing being linked specifically to the original islanders.

well seing as women cant conceive that slims that chance down a little but his mother may well ahve been pregnant when she came to the island - perhaps to work for dharma but given his age she would have had to arrive around the same time rousseau did with alex and i am certain the purge had happened by then so i dont think dharma would have brought anyone else over.

Maybe Karl has never watched TVLand and the re-runs. LOL Karl is def one guy I want to know more about, esp. why they felt the need to brainwash him if he is part of Richard's gang.

I think he's pretty young.. like 16 or 17 tops.. there's a really good chance that he's just never seen the show, even if he was born off the island.

I was in a class recently and Buddy Holly was in a question in a book.. There was a group of people who didn't know who he was.. they were saying he died of drugs and then they confused him with Billie Holiday, saying that Billie was a guy. These people were 20ish and lived in society all their lives and they didn't know who Buddy Holly or Billie Holiday were!

To me that's crazy.. but thinking about that, it doesn't seem so weird that Karl doesn't know the Brady Bunch. I just don't think it proves anything about time...

Yeah, this forumn is etiqueteless...but friendly. this is the best forumn i've ever seen. other ones i've read--i guess sports ones--seems like everyone's just lookin to jump on what others say and they pick fights and call each other names ( and not good ones). Kinda Sawyerish but without the charm and wit. I didnt wanna get on any of them. but everyone seems to be pretty friendly here!

its true - i have read lots of lost forum stuff in the past and never joined them as they all seemed full of people who were being a bit snooty about their theories etc...this one is really laidback but you still get all the good theories and a whole load of fun too :D

I have belonged to a few Lost forums in the past and I like this one the best. People get very pushy and defensive about their theories on other sites and it always ends badly.
