i don't know if this has been asked recently i just wanted to see what everyone else thought.
My favorite scene in the entire show is when john lockes dad and sawyer are in the brig. it is the deepest and darkest part i think of the show. finally finding out why sawyer ticks, why he conned people. oh i get chills talkin about it

Funny thing, you mentioned the darkness of your favorite...
Because my favorite scene is very light.
Hurley's Van! The moment that baby fires up... I get a grin from ear to ear!
Hell, even Vincent is smiling in that scene! :D

Yeah I think this question is asked frequently actually and they even had a contest on ABC's site. I believe "Not Penny's Boat" won but for some reason the moment we found out Locke was paralyzed before coming to the Island wasn't even a choice and that one was my favorite.

My fav would be when Locke went into the sweat lodge and Boone was pushing him around the airport in the wheel chair. I liked the way the characters were all grouped and were intereacting based on where they currently were in the story...like Ben waving Jack, Kate, and Sawyer through the security checkpoint, when he really was holding them captive.

I have 3
1 is when ben is still henry gail, locked up and he starts telling them about the leader of the island being a great man. its the first time we really get to know anything about the others
2 would be the walkie scene with jack and kate and kate telling back the story to jack he told her on the first day on the island. just lots of emotions
3 and best one i think is season 2 when we find out libby was in the mental hospital with hurley. its mind boggling to me that the producers of this show wont ever answer how that was, but it was a shocking scene

I agree that Locke realizing that he can walk was the best moment on Lost so far. I think it has something to do with the miracle happening amid all the chaos and anguish of the plane crash. The signature theme also playing at building and playing at full strength also added to the drama of the moment. Gotta love that Michael Giacchino. Best soundtrack on televison. His work on Fringe also fits the series to a t.

this is so hard to answer!!!
i love so many scenes. the whole got milk scene, jacob having a hissy fit in the cabin, ben watching alex die and the subsequent summoning of smokie, rousseaus crew meeting smokie (love jins tuned in ears listening to the familiar sounds), michael killing ana lucia and libby and freeing ben, seeing locke in a wheelchair for the first time, seeing the map inside the door in the hatch, the own kinda music scene, desmond and pennys phone call....ooh i could go on forever lol!!

I have a few as well:
When Matthew Abaddon visits Hurley in the mental hospital and asks him if they're still alive...(Lance Reddick is so unintentionally creepy).
Charlie's death...Everything about the lead up and "Not Penny's Boat" being the climax.
The Nikki and Paolo episode...What?
When the hatch lights up in "Deus Ex Machina" Season 1.

Same here. That's when I really got hooked.
However, I would say the best scene ever is the opening of the Pilot episode. It was perfect in every way. From a man waking up in the middle of the jungle to the quiet, almost serene feeling to the massive chaos as the plane crash was revealed. That was truly an epic scene.

I'd have to say that any scene that shows Ben getting the crap beat out of him. Those are my favorite!!
He is a great actor, I just don't like his character.

My favorite scene is also Hurley with the van. Only my favorite scene is when he drives the van into the area where Tom and the hostiles are holding Jin, Bernard and Sayid captive on the beach. Hurley! My hero!!

There are far too many, so I'll just name some from each season so far:
-The opening scene of the Pilot.
-Locke waking up on the beach at the end of Walkabout.
-Jack trying to save Charlie at the end of All the Best Cowboys have Daddy Issues.
-Sawyer seeing his parents die in Outlaws.
-Sayid's friend killing himself in The Greater Good.
-Any scene with Benry in season 2.
-Pretty much all of Dave. Favorite Hurley centric.
-The end of 2 for the Road. I suspected Michael was lieing, but it still shocked me somehow.
-The few final scenes at the end of ?.
-All of Live Together, Die Alone.
-The plane crash from the Others' perspective in A Tale of Two Cities.
-Locke's sweat lodge dream in Further Instructions.
-Eko's confession and the end of The Cost of Living.
-Hurley as a kid in Tricia Tanaka is Dead. The scene with the van was also good.
-Sawyer killing Cooper in The Brig.
-All of The Man Behind the Curtian, from finding Jacob and Locke thinking Ben was crazy, to Ben killing his dad, to leaving Locke in the mass grave for dead. I really though he might die, and I guess now you could say he did technically die by the season finale...
-Charlie's death in Through the Looking Glass.
-Charlie's reappearance in The Beginning of the End.
-Sawyer telling Kate that she was fickle in Eggtown. So true.
-The convo between Desmond and Penny in The Constant.
-Ghost Libby giving Michael some blankets in Meet Kevin Johnson. It's nice they haven't forgotten details like that. The bomb not going off was funny, too.
-Alex' death in The Shape of Things to Come, as well as the scene with smokie afterwards. And the final scene was good, too.
-All of Cabin Fever. Seems kind of like an underated episode.
-The first scene from No Place Like Home. I also like how the first scene from part 2 was a continuation from where the season 3 finale left off. Liked the fight between Keamy and Sayid, and later on Keamy getting killed by Ben.
-When Hurley throws his hotpocket at Ben in The Lie. Also liked the scene with the shirt that makes Hurley heart ****zuhs.
-Sawyer seeing Kate when she was helping to give birth to Aaron in The Little Prince.
-Locke turning the wheel in This Place is Death. Also like the scene a bit before that with Locke promising to not to go to Sun.
-The few final scenes in the Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham, starting with finding out that Helen died. The whole episode is really good, though.
-Probably all of He's Our You.
-Ben being judged by the monster in Dead is Dead. All of the flashback scenes are good as well.

All good ones Jeremy.
I have too many to mention, but here are a few:
When Eko walks into the computer room after the hatch starts shaking and shouts,"John!",
the timer gets screwed up and Locke says,"I was wrong".Classic.
When Jack yells to Kate,"Kate dammit run".
Ethan confronting Charlie asking him to bring Claire back to him.
When the hatch is blown up and the record player skips.
When Ben is cornered by Jack,Sayyid and gang and Sayyid tells him that he found Henry Gale's body in the grave.

My fav. scene is the one at the end of season 3 where Jack meets Kate at the airport, and it is revealed that we just witnessed a flash-forward. "We have to go back Kate, WE HAVE TO GO BACK!!! Great moment in Lost.

I have to add when Charlie was hung in season 1 by Ethan. The way he was hung by multiple vines looked very gothic and the reaction to find this by Jack made for a pretty intense moment.

1. Ben asking Locke how he thinks he knows more about the island than him, and locke replies because youre in a wheelchair and I'm not
2. The blast door falling on Lockes legs and him finding Radzinski's map
3. The first time Ben brings Locke to meet Jacob
4. Locke waking up in the Dharma pit to find an older version of Walt telling him he has much work to do
5. When Christian tells Locke he has to "move" the island
6. Ben killing Keamy
7. Ben waking up in Tunisia and schooling those Iraqi dudes with the death stick
8. Locke pounding on the Swan hatch door and then Desmond turning on the light
9. The scene when Ben visits Widmore at night while he's in his penthouse
10. When locke got shot in the leg by Ethan and then Alpert comes out of nowhere and heals him, only because Lockes goes and visits him 5 minutes later in the 50's
My favorite scene is when the others view the 815 crash from the barracks. It was a classic lost moment becasue it answered a couple small questions and then made a couple news ones. But was most memorable for me was getting a true insight to Ben on he knew more about the island. He was so calm in that scene and knew exactly what to do.
And showing Locke wheeling himself around that counter in Walkabout was flippin bonkers! Definitely the hook that landed in this fish's mouth!

Don't you mean when Christian tells Locke to move the wheel?
There is no scene showing Christian telling Locke to move the island.
Locke just comes back and tells Ben,"he said we have to move the island".
Those dudes may have been Tunisian or any other Arab nationality.

My favorite is the ben in the hatch "got any Milk" If I was one of these others it would be a trap very cool scene you just know the mf is evil right from that second.
and the argument over first pressing the button
"why is it so hard to believe"
"why is it so easy"
"it's never been easy"
good argument between jack and locke

My favorite scenes are the ones that made me cry:
1. Shannon weeping over Boones dead body.
2. Hurley telling Claire that Charlie didn't make it.
3. Hurley not being able to speak at Libbys grave.
4. Sawyer watching Kate help Claire deliver Aaron.
5. Sayid carrying Shannon's dead body.

1. When Mr. Eko meets his doom. When he and smokie are face to face-damn that was awsome.
2. When Locke finally let the numbers run down in the hatch then the whole place goes to hell and desmond turns the key and the whole island lights up.
3.When Ben shot Ceasar! lol
4. Ben being judged by smokie
so many others

Well Hurley and Miles are always hillarioius together, but the BEST scene was Sun whacking Ben with the paddle and when Frank says, "I thought you trusted him", Sun says, "I lied". Vintage Sun--she only seems like a "good girl". I wanna be like her!
My other faves are all the "sweet" scenes, like when Charlie (Hume who must certainly end up being Charlie Pace) was born.
