After reading all the info about Ms Hawking and the "windows" to the island. I was wondering if the original Oceanic 815 flight was scheduled to fly through a "window" to get to the island. If it was then some of the survivors may have be on the flight for the express purpose of getting to the island. It has been shown how most of the major players were steered toward taking that particular flight, so someone or someones knew ahead of time that 815 would end up on the island. Would that explain why some people vanished from the crash site so quickly?
