Ben's person on boat?

Ben has a person on the boat, who is it? I am trying to remember when Ben gave a boat to Micheal and Walt to get off the island, did Ben send them to the freighter???? and as a side shoot question. Ben seems to be ahead of everyone and always knows stuff about everyone. I was starting to think he might have a gift of knowledge.. yes he got information from the tv's he had and was watching the news from the island, but I think there might be more to it. What are your thoughts?

I agree, I think that the reason Ben is such a powerful and wanted person is because he has discovered some sort of power on the island. I, personally, was disappointed during "The Economist" when Ben revealed that the reason he knew everything about Miles was because he had a spy on the boat. It would have been much cooler if they had just left it at that and didn't explain how he knew.

I am leaning toward Michael but cant figure out how they kept in contact esp. since Ben's been "tied up" lately.

I posted in theory about this before I saw this thread.

I think it is very likely Ben lied about having a spy on the boat. There is always an answer to every question that serves your purposes better than the truth. In this case Ben is hiding how he really gets all this information.

Can he see the future? Does he own a Dharma crystal ball? Who knows.
