Kate's mom states that the doctors have given her 6 months to live for the past 4 years!!! so looks like the time wrap theory is still in effect!

No Kate's mom did in fact say she was supposed to be dying in 6 months for 4 years....she was saying that Kate's been gone that long and thats kept her alive. Least thats how i took it.

exactly, so it goes with the time wrap theory for another feed...it's been an interesting episode nonetheless!

I get what you are saying. but Kate and her mother had not been in contact directly prior to the crash. So her mother could have learned that before. Just my opinion though.

Kate's mom was sick in the hospital before she got on 815...

Look how old Aaron is at the end, he has to be atleast 4. How does this fit in.. could have taken awhile for the trial to get to this point, but 4 years?

Yeah, I'm not expert at discerning the age of young children but he was at the very least 3 years old.

Well we don't really know for sure when they get off the island do we?? so they could be on the island a while longer than we are thinking.

Yes but she clearly said that ever since she found out Kate was DEAD she's been like that, so thats why I took it as her mother has thought she's been dead for 4 years.

Yeah thats where I get confused.....if there was some sort of time loop...how did he age so rapidly? And if thats not the case and they HAVE been off the island for 4 years, why did it take so long for her trial? Do you think maybe the original rescue mission failed (the one thats going on now) and they get off another way? Hmm perhaps the submarine?? (haha that goes into a whole other theory I have) :p

Well the show has the rest of this season and two more after that atleast....maybe the flash forwards we see happen after the very last lost episode...that could also explain arrons age.Or maybe Kate named her baby after claires arron.....

No way is Aaron more than 3 years old. My niece is 5 and she is way bigger than Aaron. I say he's about 2 1/2.

i guess with the ending of the episode is that we still don't know how long they are on the Island for and how long they've been away from real time! Aaron could appear to be 4 years old, but to everyone else Kate is suppose to have a younger or older child...but DZ your Submarine Theory does sound good....Next week's episode can not get here fast enough

I think Aaron's age shows that there ISN'T a time warp. Her mom says 4 years and she was sick before the crash, and Aaron looked about 3-4.

4 years has my vote. But remember with all the time travel theories that 100 or so days on the island could be 4 years outside of the island if time is traveling at 2 different speeds in the 2 locations.
