It has something to do with Jack and Claire being sister and brother I guess. For those that do not remember, Christian Shephard met Claire when she was a teen and told her that he was her father. In island time, neither of them know this.

It might also be that he doesn't want to see him because it would make it seem too real.. maybe he's too sad about what happened and how they have to lie about it.

Me too.. it could be another reason, but I was thinking about how Kate said she heard him tell that story so many times she thought he was starting to believe it.. I think he can't handle it all or something.

Remember when the pshycic (or however you spell that word) said that he must not be raised by another in S1? I have always wondered if they were going to get back to that. I wonder why he can't be raised by anyone other than Claire. Aaron also calls Kate his mommy instead of Kate which is pretty deep.

Claire is Jack's half-sister and maybe Jack found out. Maybe Claire was killed by one of the people that Sayid is hunting down. Jack would have had to lie about Claire since everyone including Kate's mother believes that the baby belongs to Kate. Jack probably feels horrible having to lie about his sister, Claire.

I think something real bad had to have happened to Claire. Jack loves her enough to lie, time and time again for Kate (you've told that story so many times I'm starting to believe it) testify under oath etc. yet because of Aaron he won't go see her? Hmmm. Or is Aaron a different Aaron, named after Claire's Aaron in tribute? i doubt that so I'm going w/ something really bad happened to Claire, maybe that Kate or Jack or both had a part of, and that's why he'll do anything for her but see Aaron.
