holy fck! the only thing better than Rondo vs. Rose is Ray Allen vs. Ben Gordon.

Anyone see Gordon hit the floor before and now that 3. that guy is out of his mind!

Hey Landshark! Sounds like you and I have lived opposite lives! I was born and raised in Clearwater but have lived here in Chicago for the last 25 years.:) I'm watching the Cubbies win another game against the Cards!

My claim to fame is that I was on the front page of the Tribune the first time the Bulls won the Championship!:)

The Celtics kind of fizzled out at the end but definitely a great game. Growing up a Knicks fan I still have an irrational hatred of the Bulls. Even though Boston is also supposed to be some kind of rival with New York, I still like the Celtics a lot. I love those kind of old school gritty teams. but Bulls are looking good, this is definitely my favorite series of the playoffs so far.

By the way, I am still sad Garnett is out. Did anyone notice Garnett screaming and cursing in the post game interviews after they won the championship last year? I love that guy. Definitely not the politically correct cliche stuff you usually hear.

baxter I dont' care about you, and quite frankly I don't care about your Bulls/Celtics game.
If it was just one basketball game it would be OK, but this has been an ongoing trend of basketball related, attention seeking posts.
Don't get me wrong I hope that your Bulls/Celtics game goes well, and I wish the best for the team your rooting for. It's just I find this thread to be so wrong, and out of context of what this site is about. I know I'll get alot of posts telling me that bax can post about any sporting event that he wants to; and I get that. It's just that this post was the final straw for me.
Please PM me any thoughts you have on the Bulls/Celtics game so that this thread can come to an end.

haha sorry bax, I couldn't resist that. I hope it comes as the joke it's meant to be. :)

Yeah, the Saints have a very explosive offense. One of the best in all of NFL imo. Atlanta also has a very explosive offense. If either team can scrape up some D, they will be pretty scary in the NFL this season.

I am SO stoked for football season!

I'm kinda blah on their draft decisions this passed weekend. They traded away their 17th pick in the 2nd round, when Mohamed Massaquoi (WR) was available for the pickens! We need some studs for Cutler to throw to! Oh well, that's why front office gets paid the big bucks, and I'm just a fan haha! They must not of held a high value on MM.

Bears are def a playoff team imo, i think we need a year of beefing up the O line and receiving corps before we start thinking bigger!

I agree. I was talking about this at work today. As much as I love summer, I can't wait for football season especially now that we have a QB!

I was bummed about the draft too but we did get a few good picks. (Did you see the clip of that one kid jumping out of the pool? Quite impressive!) I also think that Hester needs to get locked in a room with Cutler so they can bond as I think he will be great now that he has someone who can throw to him! I want to enjoy the summer but I can't wait for football!!! They will make it to the playoffs. I have no doubt. I'm thankful Tebow stayed one more year at Florida or Detroit would have been more of a challenge!

OMG and it is such a good time to be a Chicago sports fan right now!

Blackhawks just advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs for the first time in 12 years! Now that the Hawks are back as a serious contender, you are gonna find out how huge of a hockey town Chicago is! I envy you are there and not me haha!

Bulls are nipping at possibly upsetting the Celtics.

Cubbies will pull it together, and make a run at the WS.

White Sox (gross ) aren't that bad, and might be able to sneak away with a central win in their weak division.

you know, I still want the Celtics to win, but the Bulls are growing on me. They could be the next version of the Detroit Pistons. I remember when they were first up and coming people were saying how the Pistons were the worst #1 seed in history and it showed how weak the East was in those days. But they almost became a dynasty. They didn't have any superstars and were mostly an ensemble cast. Kind of like the Bulls a little, very scrappy without a lot of superstars, but a good collection of players.
