It'll be a bumpy helecopter ride and we'll find out why Sayid and Desmond did not arive at the Freighter. the pilot was flying right into the storm.

Time wormhole? they did show the bearing for a brief peek. I think 325 - right?

yeah also there ws a momentary glimpse of desmond writing on a chalk board all dressed up and then some guy tackles him and yells, "tell me how im going to die!!!" or something like that. so clearly they survive. but how? timewormhole seems a good idea...
