When Dan went down into the Orchid there was this guy telling him to wear a hardhat. He does look very familiar to me.

To me he looks like the guy that got his neck broken by Sayid in the end of season 3. Sayid broke the guys neck with his legs.

do you have a screen cap of the guy from season 3? that would really help your case.

Yeah, that's him. I wonder if the guy down the Orchid should be the same guy from season 3. I mean he would still look the same then 30 years later. Maybe Richard isn't the only one who's not aging.

his name is jason.? i read on a different forum he is either ageless like RA or tptb are saving money on casting....

It's not uncommon to use the same extras in television shows. I am not saying that is all it is but don't forget it is Hawaii with a limited number of actors. It may be as simple as that or it may not. I will chose the simple answer for now until proven otherwise.

He's credited as Jason in all the episodes except the variable, which he credited simply as "Workman". My guess is that he's just being reused.

Good catch though, I would have never noticed that.
