ok..it seems that i feel this way more and more..........

whatever they do on the island..even though they think its free will........causes the future to exist as they know it.

much like starwars where anakin became vader to prevent padme from dying in child birth in the visions he saw....................
but she dies in child birth because anakin became vader.
anakin thought it was free will, but it wasnt..he was enabling the future.

thats why they all had to go back to the island...........to make sure certain events take place....(or enabling them).......so far they are.
if they dont take place.then the world can be screwed up.
who knows what would happen,(maybe the universe blows up) but it seems they are trying to prevent a different future to prevent that possibility.

Pretty much.

Think about Jack as really Jack -- not a character playing Jack, but a true person. Each time Jack speaks... he's 'thinking up' the words to say... and each time he acts, he's 'deciding what to do'.

In reality (our reality anyway!) the actor playing Jack already knows the lines.. the actions.. and the outcomes. To the actor, it's alls scripted (ie fate).. but to Jack, it's all his actual choice (ie free will).
