I was wondering in the last episode when dan and his mother are talking about how rude she was to dans girlfriend and she says all the girls in dans life are going to get hurt and there's no time for them is that becuz she knows that there going to get hurt cuz she knows the future or becuz she doesn't want him to bother with them cuz it will get in the way of his work. I thought this was kind of interesting becuz if she knew they were going to get hurt how would she know? Becuz he wrote it in his notebook? Or becuz he still alive and he tells her? Just wondering if neons has any comments on it.

I am not even sure if she will be hurt.
Maybe in the first 77 frame, she shot Richard, and therefore she was banished from the Island.
Ans her only way to correct her mistake is to make sure that her own son will be standing between her and Richard in the second 77 frame...?

She might be willing to sacrifice her own son for her own desires? A bit like Ben seemed to be willing to sacrifice Alex?

My questions are why did faraday loose his short term memory because of the experiment when teresa started doing the consciousness time travel. Was it the same experiment? how has she survived so long when charlotte and makoski died a little bit after they got sick? And dan said des would die, how is she still alive?

I would assume that the only reason she is alive is due to the fact the Widmore is paying for her life support as we learned in the episode when Des went to see her and was searching for Faraday's mother.

my guess is that she remembers shooting her son when she was younger which is why she never got close to daniel (because then it would be no loss for her).
and daniel had his notebook with him; this could be why she kept pushing him to his work and to eventually go to the island - she wanted to ensure she did not change what would happen to him.
But didnt daniel say we could change the future? so do you all think hawkings has a strong reason for really not messing around with daniel's fate etc?
