Pretty cool how they did what? I just watched it again and I didn't catch anything that would relate to season 5. There was something Mikhail said later on about Locke that was pretty cool, but other than that I didn't notice anything.

during that episode?? or now?
you know whats weird then? there are some episodes wherein the title directly relates. is either spoken exactly in the episode or its the name title of something in the episode. others, seem to have a disconnected name. for example, "laFLuer," "he's our you," "not in portland," etc. vs. "deus ex machina, "enter 77," probably others. wonder what if anything this means.

Could someone please explain this a little better, what's so special about enter 77?

Well "Enter 77" was the name of the episode in season three, and "77" was the code used to blow up the Flame station if it has been infiltrated by the hostiles. not sure if they used those numbers specifically on purpose or not but it's kind of an interesting coincidence if not.

What if the enter 77 code was picked because that was the last year the hostiles stage a huge attack on the stations or because in 1977 they were infilitrated by the others(sawyer kate juliet) If this station is under control of the hostiles enter 77

Sorry I guess I was a little more than vague in my topic post. Yes, the episode title in season three when Locke blows up the Flame by entering 77 in the computer after he wins the chess game against the computer. (I may be wrong its been a while) Now that Jack, Sawyer and company are IN 1977, it is interesting that they made that not only a subject of the show but the title itself. Just makes you wonder is all.

It is expertly contrived.;)
There are no coincidences.

There does seem to be other titles also like 'enter 77' where the title isn't relevant at the time the episode aired but then later in the series it becomes relevant, other examples being ' white rabbit' and 'raised by Another'. Does anyone think that the title of the episode 'whatever the case may be' is going to become more relevant, given the crate/case on the beach that Ilana had? maybe it was a little clue as to what might be good to look out for in the future?
Also somewhere, I posted about the title "a fork in the outlet' having an alternative meaning about a junction off a path, I think this might also come up soon too.
Can anyone think of any other titles that might offer more of an insight now than at the time the episode aired?
If there is significance to 77 being the code for hostile takeover then what would be the significance of the other codes?
