The final scene, in the final episode...

*Jacks eye opens*
He was napping on his couch, and is back in 2007.
Kate nudges him, and says "wake up, it's almost on."

*Pan to tv screen*

"Previously, on Lost."

god no. i really, really hope that it does not end in some bs dream, book, tv show, snow globe dues ex machina type of situation. however, i do want a shocker, something to talk about but no unanswered questions. perhaps questions you have to use reasoning and deduction to figure out, but nothing hanging out there. UNLESS there is something hanging out there that makes it possible for more episodes or a movie or a mini series. ha!

It won't be like this, but since the thread is entitled how does YOUR final scend end..... I'd like to see the Losties who are still living remaining on the island, sitting on the beach around a fire as they have shown in peaceful times before, resigned to living out their lives right there, having joined the Others or at least assisted them in saving the island and the world from destruction, and Ben rides off into the sunset, the ultimate hero.

But after all is said and done.....t'is highly unlikely that will happen.

Jack awakens, after having lain the two bodies we know as Adam and Eve in the caves, in his suit in the jungle.

Flight 815 has crashed, and he looks around, confused. Then Christian emerges from the jungle and says "Son, oh thank God you're okay! We've got to get to the crash site and see if there were any survivors."

Walt is on flight 815 looking at an island out a window on his way to grandma's house. None of the losties are on the flight.
On the island we see all of losties standing around a well.
Jacob is in the frozen donkey wheel chamber and turns the wheel one last time.
We then see what Walt see's from the plane, the island disappears and the camera pans across Walt's smiling face. THE END.

we see a set of a man's feet (bare feet) walking through the jungle holding on to a leash, and we also see the animals feet. He continues to walk and reaches the sonic forcefield, where he and the animal pass through it unharmed. He then reaches the barracks, where smokie is wrecking havoc, and we see everyone panicing. The man comes to a house and knocks on the door and lets the leash go; Vincent runs into the house. Locke answers the door (Richard, Ben and Jack are seen in the background, looking a little frightened) and says: "Nice of you to show up Jacob"

It's fascinating to try and imagine the conclusion.

Theme: Truth carries the day. Dual type confrontations between following characters, underlined character steps up as role model.

Ben --- Locke
Jack --- Sawyer
Desmond --- Widmore
Miles --- Hurley
Jin --- Sayid
Kate --- Juliette
Penny --- Eloise
Claire --- Sun
Alpert --- Dharma

Ultimate campfire at the end, celebration, all characters dead or alive. Island's electromagnetic charge "problem" is solved thanks to all sharing their bits of info. Resolution causes purple sky type transformation worldwide, buttons designed to ignite or launch weaponry no longer function. :)

First, a "flashback" focusing on the lives of the remaning characters at the time of 815's crash, and then some scene wherein Jack dies and Vincent can be seen alive. The final shot is of Jack closing his eyes.

hmm my ending of the show

the scene of the purge is played from a diffrent point of view than bens and it pans over the dead bodies in the pit,and along with the DI are all of the thought dead but 'alive' characters:i.e christian, claire, locke. and then it pans up to see vincent there waging his tail......LOST

I think I would laugh if Jack's life was so messed up by his father that he ended up a drug addict in real life and almost died and in his near death experience he has this misadventure that involved people in his life almost like a wizard of oz type thing where everyone in her life was in her dream while unconscious. He wakes up to realize this was all a horrible dream and his wife is Kate and Juliet and the wife that divorced him(cant think of her name) were old gf's of his. I know it wont end like that but I wouldnt be too surprised since they have used concepts from other movies so maybe the wizard of oz might have been some inspiration for this

Mine actually wouldn't be a dream... It's a tv show that our Losties are addicted to... like us!:D
I just needed to stay true to the "Jacks eye opening" thing.

I actually was just going thru past seasons, and thought, "hey, Lost was on at that point. Wouldn't that be something if they showed a clip of the show? (ala Expose)" :)

lol this ending would piss me off but i found it quite amuzing.

It's an epic battle between charles widmore and benjamin linus on the island. Everyone is dying left and right and ben gets the final shot that rips through charles forehead.

scene freezes on ben's facial expression and then cuts to pan over a room with a bunch of capsules with Locke, Sawyer, Sun, Kate, Jack, Claire, Ben, Charles, Desmond, and Sayid all starting to wake up. they get out of the capsules and start laughing and chattering about the experience.

they were first people to try out the new virtual gaming system created by Sony.

hahahahahha ya that ending would tick me off

My Very-Very-Very Last Final scene:

Last episode is over..credits run, but its only lasted 10 minutes in a 3 hour finale.
Lindelof and others come on screen. They are holding a book about 100 pages long. They open the book and say...now its time to explain every question you have about our show. Starts to read from book:
Number One: We never showed Libby's background because....
Number Two: We never showed what R.G meant on Noami's bracelet because...
Number Three: We never showed who Jack's wife was cheating on him with because...
.....
Number 4 8 15 16 23 42 :....

hahaha i was thinking kinda the same thing. Right at the last scene of the show before we see something amazing, it goes to static and Damon and Carlton come on and they just tell us what was going to happen. That would piss me off though lol

I know of no good ending for this show unfortunately. However, it would be cool if all my favs lived. And (only in my dreams), The guy they casted as Jacob admits he was never the real Jacob. Everyone stares dumbfoundly at him, then they ( along with the camaraperson) slowly looks over their shoulder, and in walks the real Jacob....as our jaws drop when the camera focuses in and there stands Jimmy Kimmel. Fade out.

Agreed. Jack closing his eyes only after all of our questions have been answered and we finally understand what the hell we've been watching for the last six years!

Aaron, Ji Yeon, Charlie, Clementine and Walt are in their thirties and forties, sitting around eating chocolate before dinner. The island has been shrunken to the size of a coin and floats in a five-spit spit globule. They put on masks that resemble their parent's faces and tower over a miniscule Richard who is teleporting furiously.

I believe it is going to end with Hurley putting the numbers in the radio tower transmission loop.

i quite like this... i can see it ending with us getting all the answers and the losties having to create their destiny in the past - eg the numbers! but my question is would they be killed, stuck on the island forever or finally be allowed back to normal life?

but the ****ty endings would be 1. a dream, 2. the others are aliens etc.

but some are urs are funny! i particularly liked the virtual sony game thing :L

If this ends in a dream, or with an alien outcome it will be worse then the Sopranos ending. I just reall, really hope it is a major stunner for an ending.

I Think the end will be after they stop the hatch from being built, therefore stopping 815 crashing and will show all our losties, including all the ones that had died (charlie, Boone etc) getting off of the plane in LA to some happy music, boone and shannon laughing, charlie smiling at claire, locke in a wheelchair and walt and michael bonding, the whole lot to never know each other and ever end up on the island. Then cue a sceen showing something dark (not sure what yet) and ending right there.

my final scene would be a massive cat fight between all the hot chics who have been on the show, and they all rip each others clothes off and I mean all of their clothes off. I think this fight scene could be resolved with a two hour episode.

They do a fast zoom out from the island upwards only to reveal the island is just a giant turd in a toilet. Then, camera pans to show Jack flushing the toilet and turning to walk out the of the bathroom. As the toilet flushes, you can hear him asking Eloise whats for dinner...

I really just don't see any of them wanting to go back to the way their lives were before the plane crash. If anything, I think the O6 going back shows this the best. Nearly everyone on that plane had some sort of problem which ended once they landed on the island (beside boone and all the other people who died, but at least Charlie found love). So I think maybe there will be a series of events which will lead them to the point where they have to make a choice between erasing everything that has happened to them, or accepting what has happened in the past five seasons as a means of getting them to that point (wherever that might be). And they will choose to, instead, stay on the island and then Hurley will read off the numbers, starting the entire chain over again. But I think at that point there won't be too many people left alive (I'm thinking Sawyer and Juliet will both die), so maybe not.
