Charlie???

Now this is not very important but i was wondering when
Desmond first used the fail safe key which cause the hatch to explode des's mind went through time.
He had seen charlie playin his gauitar on the street.
NOw this really did happen because des knew charlies name and he did respond . but how come charlie never remembered....
Maybe the producers never got to it....
des also met jack the nigt b4 he left for the race around the world

cos charlie just thought he was a nutter and only saw him once so it was hard to remember des.
and des only remembered knowing him after re-living that moment again. other wise he would have forgotton charlie as well.

Charlie was probably on drugs... and, even if he wasn't, no reason to recall someone you met one time.

As for Jack, I thought he did remember Desmond?

jack said to des something like "you know how to strap an ankle" i believe thats the only acknowledgment i am aware of

i thought Desmond just relived those moments in that episode, but they never happened.... cause in the episode where Charlie died, right before he stopped the woman from being mugged, he was singing Oasis and it started to rain, but there was no Desmond...
