Good day all,

I was re-watching the Brig last night-love that episode-even though he is a bast*rd I thought Cooper was hilarious in this episode. When he is reading the letter and says blah blah blah. and you do speak english don't you. Of course the best line was "kind of hot for heaven don't you think" I was driving along I10 and here I am in a pirate ship in the middle of the jungle--where do you think we are? Maybe your daddy's down here we could go ask him..

Cooper may be dead, but I think we are going to see more of him. I think he is somehow very connected to the Island. He is Locke's father and the man whose con led to the murder-suicide of Sawyer's parents who suddenly shows up on the Island. I think he is someone's bad twin. I think he is too old to be Christian's bad twin, but he could be Jack's granfather's bad twin or Widmore's bad twin. We have never seen the stepfather that Kate killed - or thinks she killed - Cooper could be that evil stepfather. He could even be Sawyer's actual biological father.

I just had an evil thought. What if A. Cooper is Jacob? He's a man of many names and it would certainly be a huge surprise! We haven't seen him since "The Brig" so we've kinda forgotten about him story wise.

We did see the stepfather (well, actual father) that Kate killed.

We are not done with him- I am guessing here but I believe we will have some sort of Sawyer flashback when he was a kid- he is very important for soem other reason than he is a good con man or as my wife says a good looking good ole boy.

Oh nice to read some of the things here.
Some time ago I had the feeling that the head of security in the DI 74-77 could have been Cooper....but as he uses often different names....he could have used the name Lafleur in those days.
Now as James Ford, took his name Sawyer from this Cooper, and as Cooper died on the Island, now our James Ford can play the role of "Lafleur".
I think even the age of James Ford Sawyer.....is the same at this moment, as the age Cooper would have had as head of security in 77.

But indeed this makes things even more complicated....and so I think that is not what the writers are going to show us...

when am i?

Yeah we saw him in the beginning of that episode,"What Kate did".
She tucked him in to bed before torching his place.

The guy that played Cooper was the "good guy" in the great movie Roadhouse. He plays a much better bad guy, though. Hope we'll see him again.
