I think the producers said that we won't see the statue until the season finale. Either way, that's only a week away:D

you honestly consider centrics to be spoilers? wow. they list them ahead of time with the episode title on lostpedia (a site very critical of spoilers) and other sites. so i guess you consider episode titles spoilers, too. i gave away nothing to the plot and i don't know anything about the plot. as for it not being richard-centric, I have read in two places regarding this episodes centric character. one said richard, one said unknown. i guess we'll see.

sorry, i just get annoyed with people that are over the top about spoilers and think that things like episode titles and official previews are spoilers. i don't go to the spoiler section because i don't like when they give away plot, like the flash forward for instance. sorry i got chippy, i am now relaxed. though i am bummed, i've been looking forward to richard centric since i read it 3 or 4 weeks ago.

it's hard not to, but i always think back to how floored i was at the "we have to go baaaack!" scene and then i read how a bunch of people knew ahead of time and i thought why would you want to ruin such a shocking thing. that's why i stay away.

Everything I've read says richard centric. where did you hear it's not? Centric isn't like season one man we have alot more going on in the now that needs to be addressed more than flash backs

I don't know if it's Richard Centric or not... but i'm still going to throw this crazy Richard related idea out there....

Richard was dead on the Black Rock and came to the island, the Island brought him back to life and now he's immortal-ish. Just like John Locke is going to be....

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Regardless..."Follow the Leader" would be a John taking over type storyline, right? Or it could mean how Richard is always the 'follower' of whom the island chooses.

And since an attribute of ancient Egyptian religion was that, indeed, fame lead to eternal life for the pharaoh, today King Tut must be one of the happiest pharaohs who ever lived, and lived on. http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/happypharaoh.htm

Today he is known as Richard Alpert.

The original source was 'buddytv' or tvbuddy, or whatever. Somehow it made it thru to lostpedia.

If you go to the spoiler section, we've got a thread going.

My definition of centric: "backstory or reveals." :)

I actually just started a post on this. Well not that he was not the black rock, but that he is dead and that is why he doesn't age.

I still like "Fork in the Outlet" better! :D

This epi was okay to me... I was expecting more. I agree that it was more for the set up 4 the finale.

Found out how Richad knew to patch up John & the unknown yr of that flash. Who exactly told Chang but that was kind obvi since they have sorta been tellin him for like 3 wks now. Losties might be dead. EH is preggers now (77) and love is complicated so her and Widdy r the leaders.

BTW where can I get a Dharma jacket? :D:p

I think this episode was Richard centric. He was present in both times and we learned more about Richard than anyone else. I always thought Richard was special, but now he has no idea whats up. Gives us a lot of insight in to what Richard's deal is.
