View Full Version : Trailer
Has anyone noticed the part of the trailer that showes the sky line of New York and its reflection on the water. They are different, the reflection showes something that looks like ruins. Could this mean that a very large amount of time has passed since the plane crashed ? Any thoughts ?

maybe the ruins represent the end of the world (supposedly predicted in the valenzetti equation) perhaps in the end the island will be the only place on earth left. just a thought. oh god this weeks going to be a long one.

ok. stupid question. Is there more than one trailer? I see the island at the end of one, and in the reflection of the water is the skyline of a city. how many are out there now?

haha yeah i've heard about loads of different viewings and I thought the extended promo would have everything in it. However, I've seen the australian promo and it has different clips. I've seen Ben saying " I know something you need" or sumat, oh and I think I saw Hurley find Jacob's house. I'll make a new topic on that last bit.

Hey yall im new to this board I just got into this show 2 weeks ago. I barowed my moms seasons 1-3 and just got hooked on this show like Charlies H addiction. Im pretty fortunate I guess to not have had to wait as long as u guys for the Season 4 opener cuz I just saw the 3 finale last week. Iv been combing the internet for all the diffrent trailers and iv come to a obvious conclusion, this seasons going to be an epic one compared to the others. Ima DVR all the episodes. The only thing that sucks is this stupid Writers strike. I want to smack the writers guild for being so dumb for doin what there doin. I mean whats the point of striking, it doesnt put food on the table. Who ever was the main person who organized this probably doesnt relize that this is so stupid and its not ganna solve anything. I think the writers for great shows like lost should just give the finger to the WGA and keep making episodes because what is WGA ganna do about it take them out of the WGA wow who cares, write an episode make money put food on the table screw these WGA retards. Sorry I had to get this off my chest. I love the show and cant wait till Thursday night.

If I wrote a book, song, movie or TV show and some other bozo was making money off of it and I wasn't making peanuts I would be mad too. People say the digital money isn't much but I know a lot of people are watching Lost, 24 and some of the pay-cable shows on dvd so I think the writers are justified.

Back on topic. I had posted this very topic right before the old board croaked. I never got a chance to reply on other's replies to it, so here goes. I saw that trailer and i was soooo excited. Ive heard that it has to do with showing that part of the season is going to be off island, BUT i think it is deeper than that.
Keep in mind some key lines and stuff from previous seasons. The ones i automattically thought of were these. Rose saying how FAMILIAR that strange noise (smoke monster noise) is, and the very CLEAR radio broadcast Hurley picked up on that radio they had in season 1. I am very VERY willing to bet that our precious island is/was a city that we all know. I want to say NYC, regarding the speculation that the foot is that of Lady Liberty BUT the 4 toes is one thing, and the whole fact that she is on her own man-made island, while that foot was on the losties island itself, so i do not believe it is NYC, but could very well be an alternate/furturistic version of a very well known city. We do know that time on the island is different than time everywhere else. Our one big clue is what Michael might have found, if he even made it outside the "bubble" (amazing how if he didn't how it took him an entire SEASON to drift back to the island). Which brings me to the question of whether Walt will be with him (thinking of the season 3 finale and small coffin) because Harold Perrineau is listed as a season regular and Malcom David Kelley is not (at least in the cast listings that IMDB has) speaking of IMDB, if the lists are correct DON'T READ ON BECAUSE THIS MAY BE A BIG BIG SPOILER

The Statue of Liberty does have 5 toes on each foot right? I like the theory though. I am starting to get the time warp feeling in the plot because of how desparate Jack is to go back and can't. Why not? HE has a golden pass and flies around every weekend hoping for the plane to crash and would have known the cooridnates of where they were from the people who rescue them. So many things don't add up and I am not goin to be able to sleep until tomorrow night. If we get through 2 hours of no answers I will be seriously irritated. Now, I gotta go look up these trailers. Never saw a city.

I saw the city skyline in the water but i didn't notice it was in ruins. BUT, if it really is in ruins, do you think it really could be connected with cloverfield??

The name of the episode is Confirmed Dead on IMDB I don't think it was stating that Sawyer is dead but I did not read further to find out if it says anything about Sawyer in the synopsis.

the reason i said this friend, is because Sawyer is not listed in the cast listing for the following episodes, if he was still on the show his name would still be listed as credit only, just as michael is credit only for at least episode 1.
