LOL Im totally LOST !!!! I dont know what to think !!!!!!!!

me too. i am confused. IF Sawyer, Juliet, and/or Kate actually do get off the Island then believe it or not, this opens the door for one of these people to actually be Jacob...

undead Locke is strange. Richard suddenly seems very sinister.

and if WHH is true, then the main characters are all going to die? either that or Richard was lying/wrong?

The nicest thing I can say about this episode is that it was a transition episode.

It certainly set up the pieces nicely for the finale...

Wow. Excuse my fanboyism, but I once again will profess my love of Ben. Please don't think I am a troll. Haha. But Im getting a vibe that undead Locke is FREAKING EVIL!!!!!! If WHH is true, why does Locke need to order Richard to help him get the bullet out during the Time travel. And Ben seems shocked as hell that the island is giving crystal clear orders to Locke... Maybe it isn't the island ordering him at all. Locke and Charles alliance? This show gets better every week. Ben ftw!!!

Reminds me of the Star Trek film where they meet 'God' who needs a space ship. ANyone catch my drift? Why does God need a space shuttle?

I loved how the writers placed Kate RIGHT in between Sawyer & Juliet in the sub after they shared that sentimental moment. Foreshadow, much?

great ep, locke is the man, as always, if you have had faith in him all along like I have you realize that he knows more about what is going on than anyone, including Richard. The "monster" speaks for the island and favors locke. Christian claims to speak for Jacob and he also helps locke. Jacob appears to be opertating outside the bounds of the islands wishes and now the island is using its most valuable asset to dispove of the despot. I believe the shadow people now have another potential leader, Jacob. Lost is heading in a wonderful direction and remember WHH.

Totally with u man. Everyone is arguing so hard for WHH... I think it is obvious this theory is shot to hell, as neither Richard or Ben, or even Hawkings last week, seem to know what is going on. We keep wanting to see the island win... but I don't think the island is in the best interest of our heroes. Only in time will we knw what Ben and Rich were trying to do throughout their tenures... I am stoked Locke is not the one we know from the previous seasons. No way

I thought it was a really good episode. Started asking the questions any sane person would ask (like about the existence of Jacob). And juicy lines!

did anyone see the coming previews? Sawyer's talking to Jack on the Island, so obviously they don't make it main land. They probably hijack the sub back, because Kate tells them that Jack's gonna blow everyone up. And what the hell with the Richard centric ep., We've been waiting for some info on him, and all we got was a whinny what the hells going on here Richard, that was really disappointing

They show them back on the island in next weeks preview. They jumped ship literally. In an attempt to make the show move forward they again once more have the main characters not trust each other. It is getting old. If you have somebodies back you have it. Somebody important in the cast is going to die next week & my money is on Juliet. Lastly, please give Sun something to do besides whine. She used to be cool.

I suggest we listen up to what Scotty is saying.
Need I reiterate what I've said from the beginning, people?
NOW are you gettin' it?

Ben: "That's not the way it works." .....

Great episode! I think that whatever jack does/ is trying to do... is what has already happened and what he's supposed to do in the first place. The 06 doing what they're doing is the reason why everything has happened.... I think:eek:

I have one friend!!! Thanks. lol. I am bit more than concerned about how lost ben is right now. My vote is if the island is giving Locke orders, the island is evil. Kind of like pandoras box. The island will tempt the weak to open its secrets and ruin the world. Ben and Richard may have been fighting all along to keep that from happening. We saw Bens compassion in not killing the baby as a teen and not killing Charles' daughter. Locke won't die cause the devil is by his side. And I really think time can change course in this show.

I agree about Richard being sinister, seems he's been jerking the others around just like Ben. And about Sawyer, Juliet, and Kate leaving on the sub, they don't because in next week's previews they are all back on the island. Maybe the sub malfunctions or something.

Scottie, you have LOTS of friends, you just gotta come over to the general discussion more often.;)
Anyway, something to chew on... my thoughts keep returning to the ashes no one ever talks about that surround Jacob's cabin. I just posted in another thread that ashes are generally there to contain evil (or possibly keep evil out, one or the other)... I still believe Ben knows exactly what he's doing and is striving to keep evil contained so it doesn't destroy the world.
Someone else can figure out the connections between Smokie/Jacob/Christian...

By the way... why does everyone see RIchard as sinister? I still don't...

i don't know what to think.
i was totally surprised about john wanting to kill jacob.
i definitely didn't see that one coming, but i guess it will make sense.
i just Hope john isn't wrong this time because he's probably my favorite character (who's still "alive") other than desmond.
the problem is that he always gets all sure of himself just before everything blows up in his face.
how can we know for sure this is not just another of those instances that may wind up finally doing him in?
how many strikes against this guy does this make now?

on a side note, i thought it made more sense for kate and sawyer to go on living in the 70's, what would they have to go back to anyways?
juliet still had her sister in the present, but then again why would ben let juliet leave the island just because the 815 incident didn't take place?
maybe she would have been better off living in the 70's as well.
the only other people who really had a lot to lose if 815 never crashed would have been rose and bernard as well as perhaps sun and jin.
that's only regarding the characters currently still "alive" though (if rose and bernard are still "alive" that is).
some of the ones who would be returned to life probably wouldn't have much to look forward to either.

currently i have a feeling this season finale is only going to leave me dissapointed with having to wait an entire year for any real answers, YET AGAIN!!!
:P

I am still trying to figure out if Locke has no intentions of helping the other losties or not. He appears to be very self centered at the moment. So, if he doesn't help them, then it's up to Jack to save them (wow that sounds deja vu).

Well John did say he never wanted to leave the island so. He did say he didn't want them to be reunited. That is kinda weird especially after he went threw all the trouble of breaking a leg, trying to kill himself and then being killed to get them back. Kinda makes you wonder.....

I don't think Locke is really Locke anymore, with the knowledge flowing through him of what the island wants, he seems to be the new Ben with a hidden agenda. i really like the whole Kate and Jack thing where she tells him ' do you know who you sound like' 'maybe i was wrong' thing, i think this realization and acceptance Jack has taken is bringing him closer to being at peace with his destiny, i don't know but i think it's Jack who's gonna bite it, it would be a first, and shocking enough to end the season leaving everyone with their jaw dropped.

I don't know... I used to think positivly of Locke's sense of direction until this show.

Now I'm left wondering... I wasn't really fond of the new Locke's arrogant attitude.... I don't think Richard was being sinnester, either. More so, he seemed very shocked and appalled. Ben, even more so. Well I guess we will see how this goes....it will be interesting for sure.

The cycle does seem to be repeating, doesn't it? Locke seems to be just like Christian was. I agree that he just isn't himself. I also think that Jack is becoming a lot like Locke used to be. The Losties are breaking into 2 groups, just like before as well. Kate is like Jack used to be and thinks he's crazy and dangerous because of his faith in the island and his destiny. It all seems cyclical to me!

I think this episode was very subtle but gave a lot of information, and if you didnt see that its probably because you were busy looking for whh or tcc etc. (this is not an attack on anyone just a statement, as I thought this was a really cool episode).
going along with this I thought it was a good episode with richard, eloise and all the oceanics. does anyone else find it weird that widmore is always riding in on horseback?
