If you were Jack or Sayid, wouldn't you have asked Ellie or Richard - hey, WTF, what's with all these Egyptian symbols??

i would be asking "hey, so how come i just came from the future and how come you just shot your own son and, you, how come you're not, you know, aging?" not "hey, what's this one with the dude with the dog's head mean?"

Good point, they never ask the questions any of us would. A good one to Sawyer/Juliette/Miles et al from Jack/Kate/Hurley would have been "So what happened to everyone else we left behind?"

Jack is the master at NOT asking the obvious question...if nothing else, he is consistent.

lol that is true, but niether him nor sayid even seemed the least bit confused about everything, They came out of the water, grabbed their torches and carried on, no questions asked. What is with that?

It would have been funny if they asked who they were and Alpert or Ellie said "We're the good guys"

I would have asked about the 4-toed statue and Smokie and why Richard looks the same all through time.

I was thinking to myself that if I was Richard or Ellie I would have been grilling Jack or Sayid about the future. I mean if you meet someone who is from the future how do you not ask them what the future is like, How did you get back, What is so important that you have to do, how do you know about us? etc...

Lol I was thinking that the whole scene. It was like "hello" "doesn't this seem a little strange to you Ask them abut it dummies" but i guess after al they have been through maybe nothing seems weird.

Because when your mind is set on a mission. You tend to take least intress with details. If you had a chance to make it all go away a place that in your eyes was Hell. What would you ask? Id think how soon can this be done. Not. "Hey. by the way... Why the eye liner?"

the questions they SHOULD be asking:

"So Richard... what is the secret to that delicious ranch composite?"
"I can't help but wonder... which of the polar bears would you consider cutest?"
"Richard... if you were stuck on a desert island with one person from 815, which would you want it to be and why?"
"Richard... what do you think: Kate or Juliet?"
"You see, Ricky... I'm a workman now. How often do you sweep the floors of these tunnels?"
"Jughead is what they call it? Say, Ellie, do you ever read Archie and Jughead?"
"I need your opinion... should I grow the beard back?"
"Did they choose Anthuriums because of the indulgent scent or the elegant beauty?"
"Say, i have this here glass eye, and I have no use for it. Anyone?"
"Man, does anybody else here miss my good buddy Paulo right about now?"
