Can't you see this ending next year....
They are all boarding 815 in Australia... flying... there's some turbulance, just a little. They all close their eyes and then you hear- Please put your seatbelts on we will be landing shortly. They land and all get off the plane in L.A. and walk right past each other and no one suspects a thing.

everyone's thought of that at some point or another, and IMO it's about the dumbest ending they could have. LOST is not about the 815 survivors. it's about the island and its inhabitants, which just happens to include the 815 survivors. to take them out of the equation would suck because it would probably lead to a lot of complications for the island, the others, dharma, etc.

I think it would be cool, if all that happened but after they land saftly, they get off the plane only to see that they landed on the Hydra air strip and they are home

Jack in a Doctor show, Hurley has his own cooking show, Sayid makes xbox 360 killing games, Kate is in this love triangle show, Sawyer is getting people to send their gold to him and he never pays them, Charlie is in a show called Making the Band, Claire is in hair comercials, John what couls John do?

unfortunately, this is what most tv shows would choose to do.
i Hope as well, that there will be some kind of alternative to this.
like certain people would not wind up with the same outcomes while other ones would.

I think when it`s said and done. The island will be errased from time. All that ever lived on it or died on it. Will be seen living a normal life in their respective times. Except for the Losties. They will remember it all.

Actually I read spoilers and the ending consists of Dharma coming back to the island to reactivate an old station within the volcano. Apparently they are going to use it to try and make the volcano erupt and kill everyone on the island, and start anew.

What if Jack was successful in erasing the island history, so the Losties board the 815 plane as they did previously. The plane hits turbulance and crashes...BUT this time they simply die cuz no island to save them. It was all for nothing.

I know that won't happen, but would be pretty ironic!

There's Oceanic gate agent Mark Wahlberg and a bunch of apes working at the airport.:eek:
