Things are really getting crazy now. On the preview clip for next week we see Richard tell Ben there can only be one leader on the island and we see Richard taking a sledge hammer to a wall? Ay thoughts of what he is getting ready to smash open. Perhaps Jacob is behind the wall and maybe he wants to be killed.

Oh yeah after all this time, NOW he wants to be killed. You're right. Oh well shows over I guess no need for season 6 after this revelation!! (I dont mean to sound overally nasty just sarcastic. )

Things move so quickly, I missed that! But interesting!
I am just glad to see that Ben still appears to have an ally in Richard, especially since he now has to use extreme care not to piss off Smokie.
Someone suggested (I forgot who) that Richard might BE Jacob but I highly doubt that.
I don't know whether Richard was about to sledge hammer a wall that contained an actual persona or just making an opening to something he needs to ensure that leadership. But I'd sure like to hear what others think...

That's OK- I can handle it. The show would also be over if Jack does what he wants to do. No plane crash. The END. Of course there is more to it. Locke is meant to replace Jacob-he talks to the Island Ben never did, Richard never did, Widmore never did. Locke is obviuosly the MAN-he was dead now alive, talks to the island, knows when things will happen and where they will happen.

The preview for next week also clearly showed Kate, Juliet and Sawyer back on the island. Way to ruin that one ABC.

For that, I think as the sub is leaving the island's atmosphere, there will be a flash similar to the one Ajira 316 experienced, and those three will find themselves back on the island.

I personally just didn't like how Richard seemed so surprised & unaware of what was going on. Like when Shot-in-the-leg Locke appeared - Richard seemed just as naive as the Losties - he was surprised that Locke had died and made it back. It's a little unnerving when Richard, who is such a big player in the mysteries of the island, seems LOST (haha...) too. I don't know - just seemed weird to me.

I think when they showed them back on the island, it might have been any island. As in the other island, where the bear cages are!! I don't know the name of the island but they could have gone over there. THey were evacuating the island, why go back? They needed a safe place to go, the best alternative is the other island.

Yes, but young Charlotte and Miles and his mom definitely leave the island completely. And right now they are on that sub. So I'm thinking the sub really is leaving for good.

We see them leaving. The sub may have a route like a train. It makes a few stops along the way. Their next destination is the other island, then on to the mainland.

When he was talking to Ben about seeing Jacob and made the statement that Ben really never saw Jacob himself . Did you see Ben's face when Locke made that statement?> Ben almost looked fearful that Locke now knows that. He might have head him but not necessarily saw him. I
I dont agree fully with Richard not talking to the Island or understanding it. I think Richard is very in tuned to the Island more than we think. he has been around long enough.

Yea, but when lil Miles and mom are shown, Miles is older. I mean I guess he had to be old enuf to wonder off and talk to the dead for our purposes but it makes me wonder if they constantly moved after leaving the island, which would be the reason she is lookin for a place to stay. Could be tho.

But I do like your theory of them disappearing from the sub but what would have caused the flash... unless the island doesn't need a reason to flash in order to take who it wants. I mean the A316 didn't really have a reason for the flash besides the fact that they went therw the required coordinates or whateva so.. Idk...

My thoughts is that they find a way to eithr commadeer the sub or once it has started to travel, they unlock them (cuz they figure where can they go on a sub) and when Kate tell Sawyer adn Jules of Jack plan the find a way to escape and swim back to the island... maybe.. who know tho
