Why, out of all the "hot shot" leaders of the Others like John Locke and even Benjamin Linus, is Hurley the only one that can find Jacob's cabin? Also, do we know for sure if Richard can find it or if he can see Jacob at all?

There is a theory that Hurley can actually see and communicate with the other dimension in these mirror worlds. That is why he saw Ana Lucia, Charlie, etc. (Not Dave as that was a manifestation of his internal voice I think) They are not dead in the other universe. That is the universe with the different outcome, where flight 815 never crashed. So, can Jacob also be in this mirror universe? If so, then it can give legs to the mirror universe theory and that smokie and Jacob are two halves of a whole. A good and a bad, or a dark and a light.

Can anyone answer the Hurley question????????? Any ideas????

I always figured it might just be because Hurley is "pure", or isn't as bad as some of the other characters are. Your idea sounds interesting too, though. How would these people from this alternate reality learn about the people we've been watching, though?

Well, in quantum entaglement, one mirror world is effected by the other mirror world even if they are spacially separated. So, perhaps Hurley is just sensative to the orther world. That's why they talk to him.

I don't know, but I'm with Jeremy and a lot of other folks Hurley is pure of heart, that's what makes him unique. The one thing he has in common with the other Losties is he also had "daddy issues" although he was mostly hurt by his father's neglect, he wasn't really bitter or angry like most of the others. He will be a key that will unlike a big puzzle box I think. And I'm like you notso we get so caught up in these other characters we seem to forget how unique and important Hurley is. Also your your questions are good and valid but I really don't know to much about the mirror universe. Do you mean "opposite universe" when you say "mirror universe"? you know left becomes right up become down etc.?

Yes I see your point. Not that Hurley's childlike in an i.q. stand point, but his mind doesn't over complicate or over think things. And I don't think he's insane or losing his mind at all like he sometime thinks, remember crazy people don't think there going crazy they think they are getting more sane.

Absolutly. He is by far, not crazy! He battles his personal demons, as we all do, and I think that Dave is a manifestation of his personal demon. Perhaps thrown in the mix by TPTB to confuse us! Hahaha! Like we needed anything else! But seriously, there is a big difference between Dave, his food motivated "friend" and him seeing and speaking all our dead losties. Oh, I just realized I forgot to include Mr. Eko in the group.

notso, you should watch Fringe. They're doing a lot with multiple dimensions right now and I think you would enjoy it.
