Looking for clues

I notice the producers of lost put clues in strange places. In last nights episode 3min 50sec in Kate was drinking out of a coffee cup, there was some writing on the bottom, has anyone read it, does it mean anything? It's probably nothing but you never know.

Looks like it says "Mainstays" like the brand they have in Walmart or something hahaha. It also says Dharma or something too....

I hope this is an o.k. place to post some new clue. At least I think it's new...

I just noticed something that I may be totally wrong about and welcome any correction and reminders if someone else has already mentioned it... but, I noticed that Sayid's (sp?) scar from a gunshot wound on his upper left shoulder is visible as a scar when he’s on the island (same spot as where he was shot in the hotel room). When his upper body can be seen in the hotel room there is no scar there until he’s shot of course.

I know that this show has some strange “time/warp” events involved. Am I just seeing things, did they make a huge editing error (not likely with these people) or is it true that the events taking place in what we consider current time actually occurred before they were on the island?

i used photoshop to clear up the smallest writing on the cup and it read "you are a nerd. please leave your home once in a while." :(

I saw that too, but I here's the thing..

The scar on his shoulder is from when he got shot on his visit to Patchy - On the island.

For him to no longer have a scar off the island is probably not an editing error, it's probably just assumed that after a few years it would have healed.

Also, when Elsa shoots him, it's in the lower chest, not the arm.

Haha.. are you serious? That's awesome.. I'm telling you guys, the writers and producers think we're lame for looking so much into the show.. I mean, they love it because we're so into it, but they make fun of us reading TOO much into it.

This was my first post, I've been lurking in here for a while. I think reading all of the theories makes me enjoy the show more.
Maybe I'll leave the basement and go outside now. But did anyone see the tag on Jacks jeans...:D
