I just joined this blog so I could throw this out there-
Remeber the vision Desmond had of Charlie having to die to rescue everyone on the island??? In that same vision he saw Claire and Aaron get into a helicopter, right? Thats what made Charlie decide to go to the looking glass and push the switch. I'm pretty sure im right about this any thoughts from anyone???

Yes that is correct but Desmond has been off on his visions before.

but didn't clair say that if she wasn't able to be with thomas her "bf" to raise the baby...thats she would put the baby up for adoption....so maybe she didn't want to go back...and told kate thats she was stayin...and that this was no place to raise a baby...so she told kate to take arron with her because it would be the best thing for him...cause she can see him when ever she wants just like when ben showed juliette her how her sister was doin...
i know i might be pushing it a litel bit but hey this is my first time...bare wit me!!!!:) PLEASE BE EASY ON ME.

I think by now she is attached to the baby. I don't see her just handing Aaron over unless it's life or death. She definately has grown as a person and a mother.
