As the season comes to an end tonight and 8 month's of agony to wait for the final season to start, i'm just curious what are your favourite 5 episodes of season 5? Mine are the following:
1.Follow the Leader
2.Dead is Dead
3.The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham
4.LaFleur
5.316
If i had to pick 1 more, i would put "Jughead" on the list.

hmm...
1) The Variable
2) Jughead
3) Follow the Leader
4) Dead is Dead
5) Whatever Happened, Happened
But then, this season didn't have a weak episode IMO. if i had to choose the worst, i'd pick Some Like it Hoth, but i even enjoyed that one. The Lie would be my second least favorite, probably.

Nice list. I know, it really didn't seem like there was a bad episode this season, but if i had to pick one, it would be "Namaste".

kinda hard to pick just one...
what was really good about this particular season was how intertwined every episode was with what came before it, not just in season 5, but previous seasons. i had a lot of questions about the dharma initiative before this season started, and just about all of them have been answered.
my top 5:
follow the leader
the variable
jeremy bentham
this place is death
dead is dead

2.The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham
3.Dead is Dead
4.He's Our You
5.LaFluer
I didn't list 'Because You Left', 'Namaste', or 'Follow the Leader' because, while they are all good episodes, they didn't focus on any one character. They were just there to set up another part of the story and get the characters to where they need to be.
Overall this season has probably been my favorite, taking place of season 2. I do have a few problems with it, though.
I felt more time could have been spent on Rousseau's backstory, and it was a waste to even put Ceaser in there. Abaddon was kind of anti-climatic, but maybe we'll see him again. And what was the point of Walt? If he's not going to come back or be of any importance, why make him show up at all?
It also seems the island in 2007 didn't get as much screen time as it has in 1977. And Desmond has almost been gone from this season altogether. I guess you can't blame them since they have so much to cover, but maybe that's why some characters should stick together. And finally, the fact that Kate gets two centric episodes('The Little Prince' and 'Whatever Happened, Happened') while most others only get one or none at all(Juliet) pisses me off.
Still, though, it's probably the season with the least flaws, imo. And the short one week breaks were loads better than having to wait months for anything new.
